yeah I think the issue was with the rate my ride sessions going on a bit, perhaps they could've done a UK podcast or two and then shown the remainder of the Aussie things just for variety. Think both formats work well

I think the live events are great. Just need to sprinkle them in during the regular season throughout the year.
I don't necessarily think the audience was complaining the live shows themselves were getting tiring. The top comment(s) from the last episode merely highlighted that the R.M.R segments were getting quite long and repetitive - and often featured the same sorts of cars.
I for one, love the live shows and I hope to attend one someday!
Lets also remember that the top comment had 100 likes at most, theres over 20k people usually watching these. I always enjoy the podcasts but i always think one day its gonna change because people cant let things be ::

If I had to choose I would certainly pick the normal episode format. As an audio only listener they are vastly more visual so just don't really work.

I love the live events as its a change from the norm, Very entertaining and makes for good viewing especially when you guys slate their rides.

I honestly love the BTG Live format although it could definitely use some improvements to make us feel more engaged.
Not sure it was a good idea to include Perth+Gold Coast in the same video, especially the really messy editing (unless there's been technical problems).
Would've been better if you finished with your Australian tour podcasts maintaining the same format, then change things up once back in the UK.
Saying this as one of your biggest fans, I will always support your work.

As an avid listener I really don’t want to come across negative but I did get slightly bored last week, it did seem a bit same same which I’m pleased you addressed in the opening sequence. I really don’t want to come across negative, more so some constructive criticism. Love this duo by the way.

That’s surprising because typically Aussies really do know how to organise and drive off road… and I would say their conditions are some of the hardest in the world. ❤
Its a collection owned by a billionaire that does more tracks days and highway runs rather than offroading. He purchased the 911 Dakar and decided to test its off road capabilities on sand even though he has never tried it before
The sound was unfortunately poor and I think for the rate my rides the photos of the cars weren’t edited in, so was weird to watch

Absolutely agree that the live events are a bit samey.. its the same chat over and over... one or 2 a year is far better than about 5 on the trot...

I liked the live events a lot, but I watch them start to finish, so for being repetitive this was 😅
I think the BTG car should be something like Ivan the Volvo, something cheap that you can make really fun and stupid content with. A drive the world in a 20 year old Volvo is something I would watch.

The live events are very good, i prefer them to the studio. They have much more 'fat' on them & it's all good fat.

Always so fun when Sam says he wants an EV with 600 miles of range. Dumbest thing ever. You don’t need a lot of range you need more charging. 300 miles is more than people will ever need

Somebody asked what would be the next new tech phase for new cars?, The person gave an example of cruise control in cars, he was speaking "we" as in general terms "we" as all on this planet he didn't make it about the uk/Australia comparison...

I've been to london and there obviously is a massive supercar scene there but most of the wealth is concentrated there...in general other parts of the UK is usually hatch territory.
Prices here are high, yes but it still doesn't stop alot of people from buying supercars.
I feel Australia still does pretty well considering the prices...If you compare it to say a country like France a country literally next door to the UK, the Australian car market will register more supercars than France in any given year...
Sam if you come back with Tony next year get him better educated, we love Banta but there's a very fine line to having good "Banta" and just being an arrogant asshole lol

Tbh these live pdocasts are boring. I really don't care about member cars or what's going on Australia or cars in Australia. The subjects discussed are boring and in fact I haven't even click this podcast. I really hope you get back to your "normal" format.
