People are at the end of their tether with rising costs of living, loss of income due to shortages of fuel, gas, lack of meds and transport facilities not to mention, the severe power cuts which lasted as long as 15hrs a day and this is them retaliating, fighting for their rights and requesting that, all 225 parliamentarians, most associated with crimes and robbery leave as they drove the country into bankruptcy. It breaks my heart to see this beautiful country, ruined by a few rotten politicians and the people of Sri Lanka suffering so much for months on end, protesting in this manner without proper transport facilities to get to protest sites, lack of food, income, in the hot and humid weather in this country requesting all politicians to leave and siezing government buildings one by one, bringing them under public control - it is pathetic to see the extent to which the public have to take measures in order for politicians to act according to constitution.

I was there in the front.
At a some moment i thought i was gonna die bcs my vision was fully blured and could not breathe.
CS gas canisters and tear gas canisters came out of everywhere.
However i had managed to escape from that area.
These people were in ecstasy when the same president and his family killed 1000s and 1000s of innocent tamils. Now the fate strikes the same blow to these people, and the karma started to payback. The wailings and curses of the innocent tamils, who lost their family, and place, are heard and materialised. This proves that the existence of God is incontestable.
