Yeah pretty rude in this case but it's difficult when you're on the spot. It seemed like the service guy was just sent out and told something along the lines of these 2 guys are pissed off at something you're probably responsible for, go fix it. And he was just trying to fix it. The other people they sent out showed obvious clues what their motives were but that poor dude was probably tricked by owners and really believed there was customer service problem that he could help with. Then he just probably hung around because the place was empty and he wanted to see what was going on.

If I was the owner or Store Manager,I'd walked up,introduced myself, offered to have them come onto the property to give a tour and show them my products...

@@Stankervision Yeah I agree, the service guy was a sweetheart and he immediately just tore him a new one for really no reason other than to be an A-Hole to him. I used to like AG quite a bit actually, one of the very best 1A auditors out there, but now he's increasingly blatantly fishing for conflict lately. Heck, even the lady that walked out beforehand tried to be a little cordial at first. I still support AG, but things are starting to get just a little out of hand...just a little, and it disturbs me enough to post this as a concern.

He handled that man perfectly based on the situation they created for him. Must be nice to sit on your couch and pass judgment in hindsight. I agree 100% with how he handled every interaction.

If the manager wanted to de-escalate the situation he could've started with an apology, a clarification the he understood he had a right to be there, and a show of good faith (a Harley t-shirt would've been a good gesture), followed by an invitation to come in a video the interior of the store after they were done outside...they were not a problem, they were an opportunity, but ego always gets in people's way.
If they was everybody as a potential customer they would have more customers and fewer problems, now they have the opposite.
Amaganset Press is doing Yeomans work on our behalf and most are too blind to see...why? you might ask...that damn ego is a bitch!

Don't get me wrong recording in public is AWAYS legal but these people are not public official so of course the are not going to know the law, I thought 1A audits were about holding public officials accountable. if you want to EDUCATE private citizens then hold up a sign saying public photography is legal. AP sucks for this one.

Any Harley-Davidson owner I've ever known wouldn't give 2 rips about anyone filming around them! I doubt there was anyone inside unwilling to come out. If there were, the entire staff abandoned whatever customers there were when they all came out to stand under the tent and in the parking lot!

Having the serial number of a bike CAN NOT by itself be a proof of anything, and does not give you a title of ownership. And AP/WTW cameras cannot get the serial number 20f away ! Teddy bears, pacifiers and diapers are prescribed.

Well, he brings up a valid point of people zooming in to steal VINs, but he is ignorant of the fact that protecting that information is his responsibility. If you know this, why do you have them sitting out in plain view like that? You've got them parked under a tent right up near a sidewalk where anyone could take a look and take the VINs.

I believe Harley Davidson shops, owners, workers, and customers would normally tend to believe and uphold the rights and freedoms of American Citizens.
This place failed to do so recently. They called the cops on a father and son walking on a public sidewalk and taking video of their motorcycle stock in plain view.
Hopefully the police came to educate them, and hopefully they wont attempt to infringe on people's rights again.
HD have relied for many years on being "American". Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha etc all produce better bikes at better prices. The British bike industry was similar and Triumph, Norton etc were wiped out by Japan.

I definitely agree, he seemed like he was just trying to make sure you weren’t wronged by a recent visit or a repair. At first I was like, uh oh they are sending out the big guns but seems like he was just a good dude!

I worked with Mark at a Harley dealership in Stafford Texas some 10 years ago. He’s actually pretty cool and very smart. Sad Jason didn’t give him the time.

I totally get what you're saying and that's why I love the content Jason brings to the table. The more people who get the concept of why Jason does what he does and what Freedom really looks like.... then the better off our society will be.
The shitty thing is that there are too many people who don't get it and look at this type of content as being "AGITATING" with "ILL-WILL OR ILL-INTENDED". The proof of this mentality in this video was when first employee came out barking at Jason and the last thing he said to Jason was "Whatever is coming out of your mouth is PURE INSANITY."
People who are closed-minded only hear what they want to hear because of their own pre-conceived judgment on another person. This is a prime example of what separates ourselves from Freedom and from eachother. It's a tragedy really.

Personally, I am glad that you are not alone. Always good to have someone watching the watcher. I believe in safety in numbers.
I have seen too many auditors going in alone and getting their rights violated. The likelihood is reduced when there is more than one auditor.
