I listened to this album for 6 months straight when it came out, Damian Marley's production on this album is great.
Also can't believe this reaction isn't getting more love, such a good album.
    Stephen Marley is his brother.
Should check Damian Marley ft. Nas - Road to Zion...its a track off Damian Marley's solo album that led to this album (if you didnt know)

The sample in the first song, 'As We Enter', was taken from a song "Yegelle Tezeta" by Mulatu Astatke. Mulatu is an ethiopian musician and composer; he is know as the father of "Ethio-jazz". The sound tracks of the film Broken Flowers (2005) are Mulatu's songs including "Yegelle Tezeta".

The song "In His Own Words"
The lyrics: Jah told me, in His own words. Jah is another name for God. It's derived from YHWH or Yahweh=Yah. It's the second part of the phrase "hallelu jah." Hallel=Joyfully Praise Jah=God. It's used several times in the Bible, and is the name Rastafarians us or God .
