My favorite thing about this scene has always been realizing that there was no need for Perseus to race against the clock. He only wanted to kill the kraken to get a shot at Hades, and as such, fundamentally it didn't matter if he beat the kraken to the princess. But he did it anyway because that is the measure of a hero.

There are two “Krakens” this one was based off of the original Ancient Greek myth… sort of. It was not a part of Perseus’ story (in the myth, he used Medusa’s head to turn Polydectes and his army to stone) the kraken was a sea dwelling titan with tentacles large enough to pull entire ships underwater. Then the Norse encountered the first Giant Squid, a real animal, literally the size of a school bus. Squids have tentacles, just like the greek myth so they deduced that must be the legendary kraken, even though it was very different from the original depiction.

Seems that by helping them...Medusa could write her own ticket. Maybe even get the curse removed? I guess Perseus would need to clear that with Zeus, but it's a possibility? If Medusa wasn't to quick with the stone stare, it could be the means to her happiness? Maybe? Possibly?
Medusa didn't wanted to reason with any men. And no men that came to face Medusa ever wanted to reason with her either. She knows they all come to kill her and just kills in return
This whole scene was great. Flying on the Pegasus around the Kraken was great fun to watch in the cinema. shame about the rest of the movie being a bit of a mess :(

To be completely honest, perseus screams really weirdly. I noticed that when i watched the movie, and I knew no one else would care, so I looked for the part where the jinn people heal him. I couldn't find it and this is the closest thing. I just had to say it to someone. Sorry
