We never had a chance to go up to the castle. Doing the same job soon. Our boiler/calorifier only keeps the water hot for half the time it used to. When we take the engine out to do the sail drive we are going to take the opportunity to flush the boiler and remove the element to clean it out. We have ordered a new heater element just in case, as the old ones often fail when you take them out. Or end up leaking. Sail Safe Guys, Ant & Cid.

Yes. We had ordered also a element and the o-Ring but after seeing all the rust, we have to let it go and give it a final resting place. RIP. water heater 🫡. Cu Guys
