I’m thrilled that you included Design by Paul Sebastian in your video! My first encounter with it took place decades ago while I was shopping for my best friend’s Christmas gift. I was drawn to the department store’s fragrance department to look at all the “free gifts with purchase” scents. Paul Sebastian’s feminine fragrances came with a blue and white porcelain clown that I wanted. Since I loved the fragrance, I decided that I would buy the perfume for my friend and keep the clown for myself. Every time my friend wore the perfume, I asked her what she was wearing and she would always say, “You should know because you bought it for me.” After the Christmas shopping season, I returned to the store to purchase a bottle for myself. It became my signature fragrance that I still wear to this day. Compliments from family, friends and associates started pouring in everyday. My boss asked me for the name because he said it smelled pretty and he wanted to buy it for his wife as a Valentines Day gift. The other thing I like about the fragrance is that once I put it on, I can no longer smell it. That’s a good thing because I would often get headaches from perfume scents that I had worn prior to Design. I was in my middle 30s then. I’m now 70 and still wearing it when I can find it and young women often ask me for its name.

One day I wore Rumeur to work, and I really love it. One of my coworkers said, as soon as she smelled me, “come here, come here, come here”, what are you wearing. Lol. Also I had on Design one day, and I went to another unit at work, and again the ladies said, “what are you wearing?”. I still own those fragrances, they are beautiful.

A couple of my "new discoveries" came from you! I took myself out to sample them and bought what you suggested cause you were right about them. Also, you reminded me of fragrances I had but didn't use often, such as Lovely. I bought that years ago but hadn't thought about it for a while, now it's one of my favourite summer evening scents. I haven't tried Eclat d'Arpege, but I love Arpege...I will be checking out the Eclat now.

Usually my coworkers ask me what I'm wearing and I tell them. I change my perfume almost everyday so I doubt we'll be wearing the same perfume. I had a coworker that wore La Vie Est Belle however when I went to purchase it I end up getting La Vie Est Belle L'Eclat because that one smelled better on me. Then I later went back and got En Rose and En Florale too. Another coworker of mine used to wear Coco Mademoiselle, Chanel Chance, Chanel No. 5 and Prada Candy. I'm not a fan of Chanel fragrances but on her they smelled so good. The fragrances I've had coworkers buy are Rumeur, Versace Red Jeans, JPG Scandal, EA Provocative Woman, Kenneth Cole Black and Lanvin Oxygene. TFS💚

Amazing Grace is my Mamas signature scent. I enjoy smelling that one and I like to wear Pure Grace. It is more soap and water clean without the musky note. I actually love them both!

Hi Shana, I’ve found so many new scents through your videos. My favourite all time scent I highly recommend is Diorissimo by Dior. Only the vintage bottles though, they’ve reformulated it from 21 notes to 3 ! However if you can try it I know it will be a keeper for you. I’m revisiting vintage perfumes which are so much better than what is being produced today.

Hejsa Lovely Shana, first of all, my dear you are not alone here, we are all freaky hahaha....I guess that the only way to know a new Frag besides going to a Department Store and try out the testers is precisely by the people you get to meet in the journey of your life....looking back to all my "signature" scents, the first ones were of course inspired by my Mom ( the ones I stole from her bathroom, of course, hahaha) then from your other motherly figures, grandma´s, aunts, the females from your family that you get to discover in all those family gatherings, birthdays, new years party´s and what not.....then comes the ones that you discover by yourself....but mostly are all of those Perfumes you get to discover thanks to that "special" coworker, boss, classmate etc....For me the one I remember the most is one hot summer morning in my home capital city of Santiago, Chile, I was entering one of those huge modern buildings to my new job and up came into the elevator with me a coworker I just met the day before, suddenly I felt a HUGE slap in the face...what a FRAG was that???.....I just had to ask her immediately and it was MONT BLANC FEMME INDIVIDUELLE...I went to buy it immediately after work and to this day it is one of my staples...I just have to have it! The same girl introduced me to Angel by TM, and JLO´s perfume....from all my coworkers I have had, which to this day are my friends of many years I have collected: - Coco Mademoiselle - Armani Code - Givenchy Very Irresistible - Dior Miss Dior Cherie -Cacharel Amor Amor im between others! You really should consider making a section like "Story Time: how I discovered this perfume" like in a serie...I love your little story behind your picks! wonderful stories that bring out my memories & nostalgia! Femme Individuelle, you just reminded me, I smelt it on a colleague. Complimented her as she was passing and lucky for me she is one of those people who carry their SOTD in their handbag. Got a whiff of it, liked it it on me and because the price was right bought a bottle for myself and my aunt. It is really amazing that, I vividly remember where I was when people shared their scent with me. Pity is I can’t remember the names of some of those lovely people and yet I remember the scent and exactly where I was. I complimented a girl who had an elegant perfume, she took it out of her bag sprayed it on me. She had a cast on her right wrist from playing football. Can’t recall her name. Oh the elegant scent was Chanel Chance Tendre. The femme indivuelle lady loved buying silky fabric from India which she made Arabic kaftans with. Again can’t remember her name. Scent is not just sensory it’s ingrained in our memory as well.

Beautiful list! I just discovered Curve recently.. it’s so well balanced! It’s equal parts green, floral, soapy, sweet, and musky! But a few hours later the sweet musk that lingers is so intoxicating! I only have a sample but i think I’ll be purchasing this one! I also love a lot of the other ones you mentioned- Eclat d’Arpege, Live Colorfully, Yellow Diamond, etc.. such a great video idea, loved it! 💕🥰

My coworkers dont be wearing ish I like.. either too much vanilla sweetness in the heat or nothing at all. A coworker of mine always wore the jimmy choo lotion, and wow, she always smelled amazing! I would always tell her how good she smelled! She just wore the lotion not the perfume but it still projected and lasted all day on her!

Idk if I've ever discovered anything on a coworker but I've known what a lot of coworkers were wearing. Not sure if that was because they were wearing mainstream scents or because I had smelled them already in Sephora or other fragrance stores. I did discover Light Blue on a Customer though when I worked in retail back around the time it was released. I literally went and bought it on my break and I do not usually like every scent out there. I remember following the lady and I think I asked her if she needed help and helped her then slipped in the "What scent are you wearing it's beautiful" and she seemed flattered and was very nice and eager to tell me what it was lol.
OMG...I had this same experience while working retail. Unfortunately LB does not smell amazing on me as it did on that customer. I still can't get over that scent.

Today i bought viva la juicy because mine was empty and Eternity Moment by Calvin Klein which was a blind buy but for 9.99 why not surprisingly it smells amazing i was looking for Burberry Her Intense which my cousin wore when she visited a couple weeks ago i fell in live with it but its always sold out

Hi Shana, I’ve found so many new scents through your videos. My favourite all time scent I highly recommend is Diorissimo by Dior. Only the vintage bottles though, they’ve reformulated it from 21 notes to 3 ! However if you can try it I know it will be a keeper for you. I’m revisiting vintage perfumes which are so much better than what is being produced today.

Hejsa Lovely Shana, first of all, my dear you are not alone here, we are all freaky hahaha....I guess that the only way to know a new Frag besides going to a Department Store and try out the testers is precisely by the people you get to meet in the journey of your life....looking back to all my "signature" scents, the first ones were of course inspired by my Mom ( the ones I stole from her bathroom, of course, hahaha) then from your other motherly figures, grandma´s, aunts, the females from your family that you get to discover in all those family gatherings, birthdays, new years party´s and what not.....then comes the ones that you discover by yourself....but mostly are all of those Perfumes you get to discover thanks to that "special" coworker, boss, classmate etc....For me the one I remember the most is one hot summer morning in my home capital city of Santiago, Chile, I was entering one of those huge modern buildings to my new job and up came into the elevator with me a coworker I just met the day before, suddenly I felt a HUGE slap in the face...what a FRAG was that???.....I just had to ask her immediately and it was MONT BLANC FEMME INDIVIDUELLE...I went to buy it immediately after work and to this day it is one of my staples...I just have to have it! The same girl introduced me to Angel by TM, and JLO´s perfume....from all my coworkers I have had, which to this day are my friends of many years I have collected:

- Armani Code
- Givenchy Very Irresistible
- Dior Miss Dior Cherie
-Cacharel Amor Amor im between others!

Femme Individuelle, you just reminded me, I smelt it on a colleague. Complimented her as she was passing and lucky for me she is one of those people who carry their SOTD in their handbag. Got a whiff of it, liked it it on me and because the price was right bought a bottle for myself and my aunt.
It is really amazing that, I vividly remember where I was when people shared their scent with me. Pity is I can’t remember the names of some of those lovely people and yet I remember the scent and exactly where I was. I complimented a girl who had an elegant perfume, she took it out of her bag sprayed it on me. She had a cast on her right wrist from playing football. Can’t recall her name. Oh the elegant scent was Chanel Chance Tendre. The femme indivuelle lady loved buying silky fabric from India which she made Arabic kaftans with. Again can’t remember her name.
Scent is not just sensory it’s ingrained in our memory as well.

Beautiful list! I just discovered Curve recently.. it’s so well balanced! It’s equal parts green, floral, soapy, sweet, and musky! But a few hours later the sweet musk that lingers is so intoxicating! I only have a sample but i think I’ll be purchasing this one! I also love a lot of the other ones you mentioned- Eclat d’Arpege, Live Colorfully, Yellow Diamond, etc.. such a great video idea, loved it! 💕🥰

My coworkers dont be wearing ish I like.. either too much vanilla sweetness in the heat or nothing at all. If I ask what theyre wearing its to make a mental note that I dont like it😏 That’s why your channel is my saving grace for classy decent scents. Clients and guests on the other hand… Ive drooled over their scents.

It’s the Jasmine for me. I kid you not… every single time I wear Alien I get stopped and asked what I’m wearing. No lie. Men and women. My coworker had been wearing it for 4 hours when I smelled it because I surely asked since I’m a fragrance fanatic lol… it’s all in the dry down 🙌🏽

A coworker of mine always wore the jimmy choo lotion, and wow, she always smelled amazing! I would always tell her how good she smelled! She just wore the lotion not the perfume but it still projected and lasted all day on her!

Idk if I've ever discovered anything on a coworker but I've known what a lot of coworkers were wearing. Not sure if that was because they were wearing mainstream scents or because I had smelled them already in Sephora or other fragrance stores. I did discover Light Blue on a Customer though when I worked in retail back around the time it was released. I literally went and bought it on my break and I do not usually like every scent out there. I remember following the lady and I think I asked her if she needed help and helped her then slipped in the "What scent are you wearing it's beautiful" and she seemed flattered and was very nice and eager to tell me what it was lol.
OMG...I had this same experience while working retail. Unfortunately LB does not smell amazing on me as it did on that customer. I still can't get over that scent.

Now it reminds me too much of that time and I can't seem to get back into it but I still love the scent and love smelling it on others periodically. I always tell ppl what im wearing when they ask cz why not i wear many many scents and scents smell different on everyone. Today i bought viva la juicy because mine was empty and Eternity Moment by Calvin Klein which was a blind buy but for 9.99 why not surprisingly it smells amazing i was looking for Burberry Her Intense which my cousin wore when she visited a couple weeks ago i fell in live with it but its always sold out

Its ironic but i came to conclusion ; from experience ; that the more someone has money, power, higher rank positions in and out of office ...the lighter , crispier, fresher their perfume is.
