Velvet vanilla, Roses Vanille, La belle and Shagaf oud❤❤❤ I definitely fell for the hype, but I'm glad that I did. I love beast mode fragrances that have amazing performance. I felt the same about labelle, a pleasant surprise. There is a bergamont note in Labelle also.
The list of perfumes that I've fallen for the hype on is so long I can't even deal. Lol. I've purchased so many perfumes this year that I started my own channel. Lol

Love the new intro. You mentioned some of my favs I have Prada Le Femme Intense,. Girl of now one of my favs. I love your honesty about the way you feel about the fragrances. We are all different and our body chemistry and perfumes is individual. We can be respectful grown-up, honest and still share our love for perfumes.

I have been unsuccessful trying to like Baccarat Rouge 540. Everyone was raving about how good it smells but I just don't get it. I also got a sample of Tom Ford Lost Cherry because of how popular it was on youtube. It's fun to get samples to see what the hype is really about.

I couldn't take Mon Guerlain either. I'm learning that I just need to DO ME! So far, many of the fragrances that are hyped up, I don't really like. My signature is Ralph Lauren Blue. I don't hear much about it, but I get complimented so much when I wear it. I'm thankful that many people don't seem to know about it 🤣. I appreciate your honesty on these fragrances.
You hit the nail on the head with Girl of Now’ 😂. I watched a few reviews of it and shared your same sentiments of curiosity because of the notes. I was so disappointed and surprised at the smell and you’re so right with the undertones and the synthetic value. I received it today and came across your review and loved your reaction and change of demeanor because that’s how I felt about it 😂. I love ‘Her’ and feel that I can trust your opinion to try some of the others. Thanks!

I did purchase Girl of Now and it’s still fairly new to me but so far it smells like a creamy sweet pistachio. I really enjoy it so far. I do want to try La Belle now. I agree the edp is better. I was late to the party. Didn't jump on the hype train. I finally got it a few months back and its a love.

I’m so glad you mentioned the synthetic undertone of GON. I’ve never smelled it, but really wanted to get it because of the hype. But a strong synthetic vibe isn’t appealing.I’ll get a sample now instead of going in blind. Smelled mon Guerlain at ulta and wasn’t into it either. I bought amo by ferragamo and I ADORE it, so much that I’m even thinking about making a video on it. It brings me back to a scent I’ve been looking for since childhood! The ones CZcams made my buy is La Belle, Flowerbomb Nectar, Kilian love don’t be shy(expensive as hell but so amazing), good girl, cloud, replica jazz club, Tom Ford ombré leather and alien essence absolue and I love them all so much.

I have La Femme and I adore it. It's a perfectly versatile perfume to wear on your wedding day or day to day. I have to try velvet vanilla. The way you describe perfumes has got me! ⭐️

Loved this, Shana!!! I LOVE La Belle and agree with you about Girl of Now - I just got a travel spray of it and didn't love it (ended up selling the travel spray). It's not bad but I think you're right about it being synthetic smelling; the bottle is beautiful! Great video and you look so beautiful!!!💖💖💖

OMG girl I have the same issue with Girl of Now! I definitely bought it because of all the hype with people saying it smells so almondy. I thought I was the only one who felt this way, but you are totally right it does have a really harsh synthetic undertone. It smells amazing for the first 10 minutes and then after that it's all downhill. It's TOO much for me.
Factsss...I think they were trying too hard or something. They need to take it back to the lab and fix it up ASAP. I so agree, The first 10 minutes is awesome!

I bought it too and it smelled amazing on clothes or things but it doesn’t work on me. Whenever I wear it I can barely smell it and it smells like play dough

The Mon Guerlain EDP is one of my all time favorites...second only to La Nuit Tresor and the original Tresor. The base or dry down notes are my favorites. Hypnotic Poison is a close 3rd place.

Aawww thank you!💕 With the D&G I couldn't get the marshmallow note at first. It's a dusting, much like the powder from the marshmallow. I love how it's clean and lightly sweet at the same time. Never tried it but i heard the intense version is heavier on the marshmallow note :)
Hi,if you really want a marshmallow beast, M by Mariah Carey is the one . It's a celebrity cheapie but she's a beast when it comes to marshmallow.hope that helps

Yeah girl of now is nice but maybe a bit to syrupy for me. I got JPG’s La Belle today and I’m so glad I did!! It’s heaven! Didn’t even get it because of YT 🤣 just smelled it in the store and loved it!

The Guerlain EDP is my preference. It is much more sweater and creamier. I also LOVE Girl of now EDP and you should absolutely try Scandal by JPG the EDP version. You will not regret that one!

First of all, you are gorgeous! Second, you should try Scandal by JPG, it smells like honey and the performance is great. Or Juicy Couture Gold Couture, it doesn't last that long but smells like caramell❤️

Definitely try mon guerlain parfum! It's my favorite scent.. but I wish it had more staying power. It's beautiful and delicious! Sometimes I get wiffs off waffle cone but it's still mature. FYI I haven't tried the edt. Thx for your opinions.. I just bought JPG la belle and looking forward to using it.

The mon guerlain edp is definitely sweeter and softer on me while the edt has stronger lavender pulled harsher on my skin

Mon Guerlain the EDP is the ONLY Mon Guerlain you need! It is beautiful. I have tried the edt and you are right, it's not so special. It is often found discounted here in Australia. I love Prada La Femme too. Very classy!

Mon Guerlain - I think you are missing out on it- it's beauty is not in the opening but after an half an hour or so on the skin (I have the EDP). La Belle - great one, with same DNA as the rest of this group by JPG, Ellie Saab - I have ordered mine and really really looking to have it, It will be a blind buy for me. good luck on your channel, I like this location better than the other one. it's just more real to me.

You should try Elie Saab Girl of now Shine. I have both and the Shine smells so good, doesn't have that syntetic note and projects really well, it's fresher and I like it much better. Btw you are sooo beautiful and I think that you kinda look like Halle Berry ❤️ New subscriber ⭐

Of your list I fell for Amo, mon guerlain and Insolence. I’m happy with them all. I am using insolence edt and edp to spray on my pillows/linen.
Yes! Insolence is great on sheets and linens. I enjoy sleeping in it and waking up to the beautiful scent 🤩.
Girl of Now Is my signature scent and I love it. It also lasts looooooonnnnnng. And I mean long. I only spritz 4 times and that’s it.
Mon guerlain EDP is lovely, it just smells really soft and cosy if that makes sense. My friend wears it and I loved it straight away. Do not spray too much. It is gonna smell better the longer you wear it, even when I smell it on myself I wanna get cuddling 😅 yeah I love it

I feel the same about Elie Saab. It’s so heavy. Also you should try D&G the one edp for her. It’s so UNDERRATED and gorgeous gorgeous scent. It’s sweet because of the vanilla but nothing synthetic about it and omg it’s lasted over 16 hrs on my skin.
I feel the same way about guerlain Mon. I'm trying so hard to love it. Definitely giving it to my Mum!
I really like Burberry for her, smells like an instant/powdery strawberry milkshake, very long lasting with a good sillage.

I just received Girl of Now and immediately sprayed it on my hand because I was excited to try it and it definitely has a synthetic quality or something that gives it an odd undertone. Im going to try it again to give a fair chance but I’m somewhat disappointed ☹️ maybe the perfume (Lancôme Idole) I had previously applied is affecting the smell 🤷🏽♀️ but this ain’t it. I want to see what all the hype was about. Great review by the way.

I agree with you, I don't like having to try hard to make a fragrance work for me just cos everybody else thinks it's awesome. I just buy decants and minis at this stage of my life: only purchase full bottles of the ones I love. Life is too short! 😁

They say that the florale version of mon guerlain is sweeter. I do enjoy that one, but yes it is not super sweet either and I would recommend using it in the Spring time, I do feel like many people like the florale version more. But no the edp is very much like the edt but maybe edp is stronger deeper less light but I don’t have either I have only smelt them in the airport or at department stores when traveling. But I do smell the florale one often and I do enjoy the florale one; my mom uses it as a nurse and it just reminds me of her. It’s lavender mixed with other flowers which makes it more feminine that the original and the vanilla is apparent on the florale version but it’s not edible but rather it just rounds the flowers and lavender, it’s not sweet sweet but floral sweet. It’s clean and springy to me without soapy ness. But I suggest to try to use the edt before bed though, lavender is supposed to be a lovely relaxing bed time scent. Maybe you will like it since u already have the bottle. Another use for the edt is for meditation because if the lavender comes through more for you, that would be a nice relaxing scent for meditation. I am looking for a really good meditation scent and I was thinking of mon guerlain but the florale one is too girly to meditate with, I may get the edp or edt just for that, but I am still debating it. Do u have any suggestions for that type of scent for that type of purpose?
