I watched this video to understand the chemistry. The equation at the end is so wrong as to be criminally negligent. It doesn't come close to balancing. And what happens to the sodium?!
This comment will go down in history as Legendary. Here we see a prime example of how knowledge can be lost in time. It makes you wonder how much was lost before people like you and I were born. It is a sad day to see such a monstrosity paving the way towards another great library torching.
