- In the wake of the Hamas terror massacre of October 7 2023 in southern Israel, in which 1200 people were murdered and around 240 others were taken hostage, anti-Semitism soared.
Instead of sympathy for the victims, many people on social media and commentators on the Middle East, failed to criticise the terrorists despite the sickening details of the atrocities.
Egyptian author Dalia Ziada has become one of the 'voices of the conflict'.
The brave writer has told The Sun how she was forced into hiding for siding with Israel and daring to criticise Hamas.

Another problem with Islam is they don't condemn any terrorist attack by their Muslim brother but if any of their people are killed in retaliation, they come out in thousands to protest... Once a Muslim guy was caught stealing a bike. The local people thrashed him and he died. The next day they came out in thousands to protest to arrest those people involved in mob justice. They did not protest against their Muslim brother to stop stealing which was the first reason for mob justice.
We could see the same thing when Hamas attacked Isreal on 7 oct. None of the Muslims came out to condemn the terrorist attack but when Israel retaliated thousands came out to protest against Israel. Their humanity is only confined to their Muslim brothers.

We have the same feelings in Lebanon. Probably close to 50% of the population don’t consider Israel their enemy and prefer peace with Israel especially the majority of Christians and Druz. I see it as a miltia objective (also retaliation) to snatch hostages for exchange, invite Israel to attack Gaza which will cost them millions and provide an incentive for negotiation, stop the normalization of relations with Israel and Arab nations, push the no settlement zone back, create tensions preventing western powers from escalating against Syria, Lydia, Iran and Iraq.
People died but most were combatants. Many of those deaths were because of the Hannibal doctrine some 200 at least. Some Hamas fighters were killed signalling there were battles.

I was talking one day to a coworker who is Egyptian that I’m attending one celebration and he can join to meet new people.When I told him this 2 Israeli friends would be there as well he gave me very strange look.I asked him what’s wrong he asked me if f I know that Egyptian people don’t like Israeli.Well I explained him as he live now in Switzerland he is probably more open to see people as people than as a race,nationality,religion…
Long story short he didn’t won’t to come and we are not friends anymore as I couldn’t listen to his explanations why I should cut ties with them.
