I didn't realize I solved it already. I spent so much time trying to figure out how to completely remove the black U shape part.. apparently it's not possible.. oh well.
Well. Surprise! It actually IS possible to remove the shackle piece completely. Ive just solved mine. In the solved position, there is an oblong block vertical in the top left corner, a square block next to that, then the 'L' shaped piece flush with it. Underneath that row there is another vertical oblong on the left with a horizontal block next to it with a square block underneath. Finally the bottom row has a horizontal block with two vertical blocks next to it. The solution is achieved by using the Key shaped tool to turn the blocks at angles whilst manipulating the space. Your main aim is to move the 'L' shaped block down and left, out of the way of the bottom of the shackle. Happy Puzzling.
omfg. ive had this puzzle for a while and couldn't solve it. finally gave in and looked it up and realize now that mine is defective. the damn pieces are stuck and won't slide down for the final step.
I just got one of these. The 'solution' you show here is only half of the solution, and it is what is shown in the 'solution instructions' included with it. ...However, I have discovered that the actual full solution enables you to completely remove the shackle piece out of is enclosure. ...Theres a reason why the tool included is shaped the way it is. In lockpicking, A key 'solves' the bitting of a lock and then it is also known as a 'Turning Tool' to open the lock. Such is the case here. The tool that comes with this puzzle isnt only for aiding in the moving the blocks side to side and up and down. It is in fact used to turn the blocks within the enclosure to manipulate the available space further. The aim is to move the 'L' shaped piece down and to the left so it no longer blocks the shackle. It is equally neccesary to use the space where the bottom of the shackle was rested in the starting position. Happy puzzling.
CORRECT!! The complete solution is to remove the shackle completely by manipulating the space so the 'L' shaped block can be moved down and left out of the way of the bottom of the shackle piece. It is achieved by using the Key tool to turn the blocks at 45° to further manipulate the space. Ive solved mine.
Deacon it was a wooden one and i figured that was the case but when i googled the solution it turned out the model was faulty with many people. They used too much glue and it oozed in the wrong places preventing the sliding mechanism from working. But thanks for the unneeded toxicity lmao.

Bro I was litro spending so much time trying to completely remove it
Yea they did
nope
it too easy i thought i had to remove the whole thing
You didn’t solve it
Tang Tanya it didn’t come undone tho
@@GarrettHampton2004 yeah it did? You only pull one side out, like a normal lock - the entire thing doesn't need to come out.
