I remember about a year ago I was really unsure if I should keep on pursuing engineering in university as I was honestly miserable and I couldn't see myself being an engineer for the rest of my life and then I prayed Istikhara right before my exam which I studied an entire week for it and then I did poorly on it so the professor talked to me after he handed me my exam as I was retaking this class and then from that moment I knew that Allah was giving me the signs so I switched to a business degree as I always wanted to run my own business but my dad's suggested engineering to me beforehand and now I am doing well and so much happier in the business school and inshallah with the help of Allah I will have my own business after college and be able to help other and my family in the process.
Alhamdulilah bro, glad to hear you found your passion. I was in the same exact position at university doing a degree I did not enjoy and I was unhappy. I wish I prayed istikhara but it never came to my mind at the time.
Bro i wanna know is there any scope in engineering.. Should I do it or not... Is there any option 'b' if I choose engineering.. Guide me

So my story to this is that I met a guy and we both wanted to involve our familys but I still wasn‘t sure about his intentions and my future with him so I prayed Istikhara and SubhanAllah , you guys 2-3 days later he blocked me out of nowhere on social media. My immediate thought was, him blocking me was the answer to me praying Istikhara! To this day I haven‘t heard of him and I‘m not even sad about it! SubhanAllah

Wow hearing testimonials like this is amazing. Allah says reminders are beneficial for the believers. Here’s my experience:
I tried istikhara last week because I was contemplating a move to a different region in the country, less than two days after, I was reposted to that region at work. It felt too unbelievably, like a miracle, now that I come on CZcams and see more comments like this, I want to pray istikhara all the time. Allahu Akbar the ummah is beautiful, may we all make it to Jannah and never be in hell fire. Amin
I prayed istikhaara last night, i wanted to marry this girl but i didnt know if she had been waiting for me or if she had already married
After i went to sleep, i received a text from my friend, this was 20-30 mins before fajr
I called him back and he informed that she had married and the couple is moving to Australia.
Alhamdulillah i got my response instantly, it is hard to move on but there is comfort to know that Allah has guided me to the right path.

In the first rakat after surah fateha recite surah kafirun
After the salah is complete and you are going to make dua there are ways to maximize the chances of Allah accepting your dua.
When starting your dua start by praising allah and then reciting a durood for Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and then make dua, the istikhaara dua is best if its specific and to the point, you will basically be asking to guide you to make the decision will be better for you rather than asking for a spouse or a job or a business project for you that might not do you good despite how much you want it.
End your dua with durood again.
After ending your dua, say subhanallah and alhamdulillah 33 times and allahu akbar 34 times.
Now, MOST IMPORTANTLY i may have gotten my response immediately from Allah but there is no guarantee that it will always be the case. Sometimes Allah wants us to be patient and endure the hardship.
However, do your best, dont rush your prayer, be sincere and focused, also i would like to mention that i was crying my heart out during the entire salah.

@@uzumakinarutok7384 intend to pray 2 rakat nafl istikhaara prayer, then read surah kafiroon after surah fateha in the first rakat.
Its good if you shed a tear or two (i cried my heart out), make sure you are focused and sincere in offering your salah, do not rush.
After completing the salah, make dua.
Start by praising Allah, recite durood for prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and ask for what it is that you want but do mention that it is only if its in your best interest. Istikhaara dua is best if it is specific and to the point. End your dua with durood again.
Now there is no guarantee that this will work immediately, sometimes Allah wants us to keep patient and endure. He is the best planner.
Keep praying.

So basically I've been working in one company for 4 years and for no reason I was done with the toxic level and I resigned. I tried searching other jobs for 2 weeks while staying on my notice period and didn't find any other job and I'm the only bread maker. I was never happy in my current company but ellhumdullila I have grown so much in career here. Now my company wants me to stay and I've an interview the next week from an amazing company. I have to renew my contract this week and everything seems a mistake a messed up. I tried to stay here in this company and I don't even feel happy. May Allah make it easy for me

I made istikarah and my family and I felt positive about it so we proceeded. Everything was happening smoothly and quickly than what both of us expected. Though we wanted time, as we are totally opposite people yet similar in some ways we proceeded as my multiple istikarahs always came out positive clearing any doubts we had. However just few days before the engagement the guy backed out saying I deserve someone better than him, he doesnt feel worthy of me, this happened without any signs. Still my family and I feel positive about this proposal and guy. I dont know if he will come back or not. Neither can I let go of the feeling that everything was right in this proposal. What should I interpret it as, the obstacle as a negative or should I keep praying as I still feel very certain about my decision and choice and that this is all just a testing of faith by Allah.
I am continuously asking Allah swt to guide me. I dont want to ignore any possible signs that Allah is presenting due to my liking towards this proposal which I developed over time.
Anyone has any inputs to guide me?

Assalamualaikum sister it's a sign that Your heart is still filled with Imaan, and Allah SWT is being merciful I suggest you to read Quran, and listen to Surah rahman daily and do lots of dhikr
Dhikr is the main key to be consistent upon imaan and to keep our heart firm...

Salam, so basically me and this man love one another, his parents want to come and ask my hand and his sister's are pretty great with me, but my parents are disagreeing to this, I asked my and they said just because and also said forget about him etc, I tried so hard to convince them but they keep saying what will the world say etc, I said at least sit and talk to them, ask and investigate for whatever you want to know but they said we don t want to. I really love him but they are forcing me to leave him no matter what and to marry whoever they want but I don't want to. What can I do? Can i leave them and get married to him? Will I be happy? Will ALLAH SWT be okay with it?

ok i made istikhara for this one thing i felt comfortable and more inclined towards it , my teachers encouraged me , family members encouraged me , friends supported me but there's other ppl that went against it and others that kinda tried to pursue me to not do it , so im like is that a closed door? also smth happened on the night that i made istikhara that made that thing possible after being inaccessible bc of some problems in the education system ye anyways i hope someone can answer me from hindsight so that i can make my mind one last time.

so… i made istikhara for wheter i should go back to my ex girlfriend whos still my first and only love (5 years later).
and SHE came me back about 3 months later.
does that mean now that Allah opened my doors?
im curious because after we talked i lost much interest in her (which doesnt mean that my love towards her became less)
