Ocean Monument Drain and Crazy Guardian XP Farm in Minecraft Survival

We needed an XP farm near our new home base location so we combined two of our favorite Guardian Farm designs to create this masterpiece.

How long did the whole build take?

Why not just have the bubble collems combine into a smaller area and then send them up with another bubble collem? why use the nether to just lift them?

The videos is ok, but i see sooooo many bad things about this farm that i dont know where to start... Whats the point of draining whole monument if you use simple portals and farm is 2d? If you decided to drain and use portals, why you made just a regular spawning tank instead of portal spam with waterlogged stairs? If its designed by you: GJ! You designed a farm using a mix of all the worst solutions possible ;)

We designed this ourselves to fit our needs. We just needed a simple guardian farm for XP, we decided to drain it for what is to come with an insane build around it since it is so close to our base.
