love the video! i appreciate the calm pace you have. good luck to you :)
When it comes to calm vibes, you're the king of chill 😁
Ahh bedrock tings
U complimenting someone over his chill vibes is like idk, ronaldo and messi doing a standing ovation to someone else goal
a wild waxfraud has appeared
If you press f3 + h it should turn on tooltips and show durability again 👍🏻
commenting to boost, as I was about to comment the same thing!
BOOST
BOOOOOOOST
Booooost!
Thanks 🤣. Boosting worked
this man is clinically insane
uh oh stinky
True that he is

Something like how the elytra ‘breaks’ but can still be fixed would be a good enchant for tools to stop you from accidentally breaking them. Great video as always!
I think the philosophy behind this is that elytra aren’t “renewable”/common, so breaking them fully would make them more of a novelty than a utility. Tools however, are plentiful.
@@kamarwashington potentially add an "unbreakable" enchant which is mutually exclusive to "unbreaking" the same way mending and infinity are where it puts tools in the "Broken" elytra status
The man the legend is back, when the world didn't realise they needed him the most
🤓☝️
🫠
Honestly I’m late, but so fcking happy he’s back
Bong Da City re mounia
I will wait years if that’s what it takes for another episode. The quality on these is ridiculously high. Keep it up man!
I'll try to not let it be years 😅
@@Juic3e waiting for him to reflect back after several years and realise he couldn't be more wrong
It has 2 pistons because it allows something called 0 ticking where pistons take 0ms to extend instead of 50ms but because blocks take 50ms to place without auto-clicking it doesnt matter
Also I suggest the Vanilla Tweaks datapack Tool Durability Ping which tells you when your tools are about to break
Ahhhh, I knew there'd be someone who'd know and explain. Thanks. 😁
0tick impulse also destroy entity blocks like sand most of the time, so it was useless
yeah 0 ticking is kinda useful for projects like this
f3 H turns on tooltips@@Juic3e
Your villagers have to be able to sleep for the Iron Farm to work. At night, block of the view to the Zombie and see if all three villagers are able to sleep. If any aren't sleeping, that means they aren't able to access the Pillow portion of their bed and you have to re-place those beds in the correct configuration
Maybe there aren't 3 villagers in each section but 1. I'm not sure though.
@@aras588 You're right, There does need to be Three villagers per "cage" lol
@@trustless_why is that btw. I've never really understood the mechanics behind that. Does 1 villager not count as a "village" or smth?
Yeah you need a group to summon a golem @@Itz_144Hz
For an iron golem to spawn you either need 10-20 villagers that are talking or 3 scared villagers so 3 villagers and the zombie allows it to work. there is a video out there that talks about how the farm works and breaks down each part of it so you can really understand why each build is the way it is and also how to change it up if you want to. once you understand the fundamentals it allows you to experiment and make it for ascetic.
i like how you said setting up replay mod looks like a big hassle, yet you're doing one of the biggest minecraft projects ive seen haha
Little tip. You can use paint to create circles for use in mc. It tells you the dimensions as you're drawing it. Same goes for any other shapes really.
I think one way to manually build circles would be to make an octagon, then smooth out the edges. It's tricky for the straight parts, but for the diagonal sections, there's a pattern you can follow of x diagonal blocks > one block in/out > repeat, but add/remove 1 block to the diagonal section each time. Circles in Minecraft have 8 sides that are "flat" at the end, and figuring out the exact shape of those ends is likely to involve trial and error, but I find these methods make building large circles perfectly doable, even though I've never built anything at this scale, and wouldn't, anyways.
I believe hitting f3+h will show the durability in your tools again. It's the keybind for advanced tooltips
Thanks. 😁
It might’ve just been a setting turned off when changing versions? You can turn tooltips on in settings or by pressing the combo f3+h. (3:40)
Thanks 😁
I hope you plan on continuing this series -- it's been loads of fun to watch!
I apreciate this guy's videos and his personality so much, it is always exciting when he uploads. Thanks Juice, keep it on. ROAD TO 100K🎉
i really like your style of commentary, you're so chill and quiet; perfect for putting on in the background while i do other stuff. hopefully your next project is more mentally stimulating for ya.
OMG the size of that perimeter!!!!
FYI - I'm not sure why people tackle monument projects without fully powered conduits. Large area for water breathing and damaging nearby mobs and 'night vision'.
I forgot conduits existed 😅
If you want to fix the iron farm u need to replace the glass with the villagers to trap doors and place them against the slabs so they aren’t floating and you should make sure the villager pods are 3 blocks away from the zombie.
Forget the upload schedule this guy is amazing
I wish I could upload more often 😭
love the soft voiced calm commentary, nowdays mc youtubers hype everyday up so much and it's a lot of energy which gets tiring quickly, appreciated watching this way more! keep up the good work
I'm not a fan of the hyped up commentary either 😭
I've only ever drained an ocean monument once, but man it was so much work. My circle was only half the size of yours, so I can't even imagine the amount of time it took for you to complete it. Love the videos, don't grind too much!
We love your content Juice. Consistently amazing
f3 + H lets you see your tools durability
Thanks 😁
I drained just the ocean monument with 3 of my friends and regret it till today and here is the legend destroying the records. For reference it took 7 days for 4 people to drain just the monument and this guy drained 25 times the area and did it solo. Legend for this reason.
3:30 It's one of the f3+letter keybind
It's probably f3+h
Thanks 😁
I am a simple man, I see a Juice video, I leave a like.
amazing work! I could never imagine having this much determination and dedication!
bro nothing better than opening your recommended after a long day and seeing a new video from Juice pop into there
Your voice is so calming and your music choice is very chill too so I've been using these videos to help with my insomnia for a couple of weeks. Keep up the good content! I'm eager to see how your hardcore world turns out!
we gotta figure out how to get juice more well known, the man is putting in more work than everyone and deserves more thab 20$/month total on patreon
Cool video Juice! I did something like this back before April in my hardcore series. I ended up digging a circular perimeter around the monument that was over 500 blocks across. Then I did a massive build around it requiring 1 million blocks. Great work!
Now that sounds like a serious project 🤯
you need to press F3+H for the durability to show on tools and armor!
Am I stupid or is it f3 h
@@BIG_J69 you´re right, I always mix them up, f3 b is for hitboxes (I always just press both and see which one works)
Thanks 😁
You don't have to put all the sand down at once, just do one strip and then move the sand over; probably reduce your sand needs by 90%
Press F3 + H to see durability on tools 👍
Thanks 😁
The plan is: you make so many videos that you can actually start watching your own videos while doing other videos, thus creating an infinite content loop
Every creeper bomb just cements the need for a herd of cats while shoveling sand.
Wow, the quality of footage between the previous episode and this one is amazing...I've just watched all three episodes back to back and this one is a massive improvement in quality, nice job!
~80k views in 8 days is criminally underrated for a project this monstrous, and content this good.
Keep up the epic work! You earned a new sub ❤
Edit: looks like its getting about 11k views a day now. Thats a little better :)
every upload of this hardcore series is just juice torturing himself for hours upon hours for our enjoyment
Hey man! It’s great to have you back again! Low key been looking a couple times every week just to see if you posted, and now that you have I’m so excited! I bet it’s gonna be a great video!
Hey! I just found your CZcams channel and this is the first time I subscribed to someone within 2 videos. Your voice is calming and your play style is very casual and you don't make your videos over edited or over complicated like not using reply mod. This gives me a nostalgic vibe to old minecraft videos where it was just playing.
I Will be looking forward to accompany you throughout the series!
10:00 You don’t have to resurface brother, just take the hits. It’s far less annoying than having to go up every time.
Edit: Or eating Water-breathing potions every time.. Full Protection IV protects you from drowning damage as well. Tanking half a heart every few seconds does drain your saturation but any good food will do the trick, another reason why Golden Carrots are great.
you actually never cease to amaze me, keep it up!!
Always a great day when Juice uploads
After two months... he came back 🥳🥳
juice the amount of effort u put into these videos is absolutely insane to me
Honestly the way he does this is so smart, not just getting sand and placing it in the ocean and instead doing other things almost as breaks is so smart and makes me want to get back into doing cool shii in Minecraft
keep it up bro this series has been great so far. This is honestly the best one I've watched love it.
Quick Tip: Rebind right click to Spacebar (Or similar) to increase placing speed.
Yet another Quick tip: Placing Blast protection IV on 1 armor piece is 80% damage reduction from explosions, meaning you don't need a full set.
Yet another quick tip: You could've reused sand by blocking of the strip early and draining it and it's neighbors, then reused the sand wall. (Now that I type it out I realize it might just be easier to extract it manually from the desert)
You have become my favorite CZcamsr. I really love the quality and relaxing vibe of your videos! Thank you for taking on ungodly amounts of work for amazing videos!! Please take care
waiting so patiently for you to blow up , here since 59K keep up the great work
Man's living on that next level grind, keep up the good shit bro
Hey juice i love how dedicated you are even though you dont have that many subs. Also I sugest paying more attention to other hardcore serius to learn more about redstone because even simple redstone contraptions can sace you hundreds of hours overall. I would also suggest building a shulker farm as they are quite similar to iron farms in building them and it can give you soooo much more shulkers. Also here is a decent explanation on how your sand placing machine works: it uses a mechanic called 0 ticks wich basicly bypasses the 1/20th of a second limit. It does this by technically activating the top piston after the bottom piston but it's rendered at the same time. doing this updates the pistons instantly activating them. also pistons automatically rectract instantly so you don't need to worry about that. a good way to visualize this hidden 0 tick mechanic is activating a nether portal. a nether portal lights instantly to the player but not internally. it actives in a zigzag pattern witch can be seen through Observers and tnt. ONE LAST THING press f3 + Q to see more cool tricks you can do.
I keep putting off redstone, but I feel like it's the next progressive step at getting better in the game 😬
Bro its more like you drained an ocean which happened to have an ocean monument in it.
another great video to add onto the series. excited for more bud
This is an insane area to drain of water. Love to see it.
Hey! I seriously love your style of videos! Big projects bring me nostalgia haha
I have a question that has been lingering in the back of my mind for quite a while now:
How do you subtitle a video like you do? It's very appealing to the eye
Also, how long does it take to whip up?
Thanks for your response in advance :)
Brother, there aren't even subtitles
@@guinea_horn Ermmm.. 🤓👆🏻0:06 There is actually subtitles....... You hebetude Gowk! 😒
My editor does them now so I don't really know. When I used to do them, I would just play around in premier pro, usually adding a drop shadow helps.
Why?? You could’ve got a whole phd and instead u drained an ocean
Gotta respect the griiind, exited for whats to come great vid!
Man i waited so long for the 3th part! Thank you for coming back!👏🙌
Watching some of this gameplay tells me that you need more sleep. Like when you're placing the torches under the sand it feels like you are about to pass out
your voice is so soothing i literally watch your videos to go to sleep every night i can’t even get through a video. i love your content so much!!
Nice video. Really reminds me of the older minecraft youtube. A good break from the super viewer retention obsessed hyper-statured content of today.
I think you might have been able to save some time if you did the sand lines only two at once but all the way in so that you could remove the first sand line right after yoy finish drying the second
And just break the sand with a torch… and place them with a flying machine, or use a draining flying machine. It is impressive to see so much effort, but also frustrating.
@@MiesvanderLippe yeah honestly i like so much that he likes the grind but i commented this time because it seemed like he was miserable doing it unlike the other episodes where it seems like he's saying stuff for show
It's been 3 months, glad to see your back
Finally another video! Very excited to watch it. Thanks a lot!
My man is spending so much time in the desert he made the ocean look like one 😂
LETS GO! NEW JUICE HRADCORE VIDEO AFTER 3 MONTHS
damn, this video is quite noticeable in the ocean of hardcore videos that i drained :D
I love your humor and pace! Great stuff 🙂
For the iron farm you have to put the villagers nearer to the zombie so that iron golem spawns
The thought of a project like that makes my brain hurt. I salute you and your efforts.
Dedication is insane. this guy spends months on one project whereas I can't last more than 30 minutes on something.
strip mining for netherite is very chill. if you have full enchanted armour you don’t even have to worry about those random lava blocks. i really like it.
Plus, with TNT and beds, there's always a chance of getting too close and blowing yourself up
Dont worry about replay mod. It sounds dumb but i like your simpler style of content. All of the other minecraft youtubers coming up right now feel the exact same. Fast pace editing, constantly loud talking, replay mod timelapses etc. Your channel is a breathe of fresh air from the oversaturated hardcore space.
i haven't enjoyed watching a minecraft video like this for a couple of years , great content man
subbed because this is one of the most painful, horrifying, Sisyphean minecraft videos I've ever seen and hats off to you sir. it was like Event Horizon but with sand
Hey juice. Your content is genuinely phenomenal. That’s all. Cheerio!
Mate! When Juice uploads, I watch!
Fantastic stuff as usual 👍
It would be really freaking nice if there was an enchantment you could get on tools that stopped you from using them at 1 durability. 😤
The way you don't pick up the blocks of sand that float to the surface really made me murderous :)
Im so glad you returned 🙏🏼 I love your videos and I love to watch them before bed, you have the most relaxing and calm voice ✨
I have been wait so long for this man. i constantly checked for new episodes but he is back
Most satisfying minecraft series on youtube :)
F3 + H should bring back the tool numbers. Because its still on 1.20.1 at least. Fun video!
Thanks 😁
Always great to see a new video from you!
Sir this is beyond ambitious... Holy. Started a project a 260 x 260 circle or whatevs the max gen was for the circle thing and you motivated my redstoneless mind to use these small contraptions n get back to it!!
Cannot wait to see what you got in mind for this gargantuan area.
Remember how I said you encouraged me to carry on the project. Phase 1. The drainage is over. Thanks for your inspirational video.
We all know that Juice has to be working on one hell of a melon video as well as these ones, I wouldn’t be surprised if he just skipped up to “I spent 10,000 days farming melons in Minecraft”.
And I wouldn’t really make me waiting either
love this series. well done
genuinely don't think i've clicked a video so fast in my life. the boy is back
Seeing you show clips from a previous video puts into perspective what work has to be done to tantalise the taste buds of a viewer. I've known it to take work, but to imagine you clipping the previous video in a software and then using video engineering software to add the clip...
...just wanted to say thank you for your dilligence. These are things I never accomplish with games, not to mention your oration is a whole entire different beast on it's own. Nice literature btw.
I have to say, I have heard of many ways to drain water in Minecraft and sadly I think Juice did one of the hardest.
If you intend to use a gravity block (sand or gravel for example) I would recommend clearing in strips like how Juice does here, but instead of making the stripes all at once, make 3~4 and then drain the first two, then use the sand from the walls to make walls 5 and 6... And continue along that line. This removes a vast amount of sand farming.
Another way to do this quickly could be through redstone "flying" machines. Or more specifically, using pistons to push blocks into the Water Source blocks, and then dragging the pistons along to push that block again. This will delete the Water Source each time the block moves, which means you only create a wall of movers and set them off.
Another option is to use lava to make the Water Source tiles on the top into stone. Just place the lava and then let it run into the top to make the stone, and then use Moss and bonemeal the moss to make it spread - then a hoe is an instant mine.
Another is if you want to combine the Piston and Lava/Moss concept, you could make a cobblestone farm and have the Piston pushing it across, then Moss it once each of the machines are at the Piston limit.
And this seems to be Vanilla Minecraft, so I didn't suggest it initially, but several mods have ways to auto-place blocks, which if Juice was able to use would have sped everything up as multiple Piston/Placers could have been active at the same time.
For the Guardians, I think they spawn only within an area with the ocean monument tiles, so if you want to avoid them bothering you while you work, I think clearing out the inside of the Monument and then draining it (use Sponge) will reduce and/or eliminate their spawn options.
My favorite minecraft CZcamsr. I love these videos man
underrated dude! keep up the good work!
u got your self a fan keep it up man ur doing great with the editing and stuff ❤
him going from making a circle, to a square, to getting sand, to breaking his shovel, to going to expand his end farm storage, back to sand is what i'd call adhd
I never looked at it like that 😂
try to break and replace the beds, it might help with fixing iron farm!
Bro is able to make breaking sand the most exciting part of my day
They didn’t remove the durability from the tools, there is a key bind to turn it on, search up what button it is.
F3 + H
this is why we watch to see the suffering and pain you go through, love the content doe
Doe?
Finally a youtuber who’s not a circle making god
I don't know how they do it. Seems sus
Doing all this draining by hand instead of using flying machines is beyond crazy. Only the monument itself should be drained by hand... imho.
