I’ve mowed everywhere between 1 and 4 inches, with 1.5 inches being my favorite. Tight look but still stripes very well. Any shorter, doesn’t stripe as well as I want. Any taller and I want to mow it again the next day cuz it looks to shaggy. All personal preferences anyway your KBG is shining like it’s prime fall time end of September holy cow!

Not sure my yard is big enough to fit a double single checkerboard with the 50" but I will give something a try. Also rocking the Blue Heat in Coastal NC.

Pete, what happened with your underground sprinkler system?🤔 I see you are using above ground hoses.
Hopefully I can my grass to fully recover with my next fertilizer application. Last year was brutal on my yard. Winter burn, traffic damage from redoing the landscaping, and lawn rust.

Ferris is made in North farming and racing town. Originally Vernon where my mom and dad live. Note the moved five miles down the road in the old Onieda silver plant in Sherell. Ferris hired local racers and farmers to help get that bad machine!

I don’t have the funds for a stripping Ferris z3x and a big league lawn roller :/. My 10+ year old Honda push mower won’t give me stripes to compete in a contest like this! Though I live vicariously through all ur videos!! :)

Oh cool beans, thanks Pete, looks like I made top 5 so that’s not too bad, I’m good with that, surly would have been nice to win I’m thinking of possibly doing a warm season grass, more than likely I’m totally outta my mind but my fescue is smoked, totally over run with brown patch, my backyard perennial ryegrass is cooked over with gray leaf spot, thanks again and to everyone suffering this summer with there lawns, good luck!

@@MrChaz0409 ok makes sense now. That black walk behind is a wright mower. I used to have a exmark walk behind I used but that was several years ago. I’ve had 2 commercial walk behind mowers wright and exmark in the 7 years total I’ve been on CZcams.
