    Guyana SPEAKS (GS) was established in 2017. The co-Founders of the initiative, Juanita Cox and Rod Westmaas, host events on the last Sunday of every month - December excepted - as well as ad hoc 'Specials' throughout the year. Events cover wide ranging topics from the arts and culture, to history and to the consequences of oil in Guyana. They are intended to stimulate, inform, inspire, and unite while providing a forum in which Guyanese and Guyasporans can network.
