George Harrison Life Story: As a Beatle, Harrison underwent a bewilderingly compressed early adulthood, buffeted by unprecedented levels of fame and success, from schoolboy to global superstar. The pinnacle of 1960s pop culture music was "Beatlemania" and offered remarkable experiences and opportunities, and yet dissatisfaction still gnawed him from within. His life became a quest for meaning and truth which travelled far beyond the parameters of his former band and his former self.

The skinny boy with the thick dark hair sat in the back row of a full classroom, head down, intense brown eyes fixed on his notebook. As his teacher lectured, the boy scribbled with his pencil, as if taking down every word. But George Harrison wasn’t listening. The 13-year-old son of a bus driver drifted into visions of his future, filling his notebooks with obsessive drawings of guitars - the instrument he’d been longing to play since he’d heard Elvis Presley’s hits, the sonic embodiment of all the fun and joy missing from dreary postwar Liverpool. Soon enough, he was filling his notebooks with lyrics and chord charts, and maybe an occasional sketch of a motorcycle.

George was so underated. His song and music writing talent was untouchable. His spiratualism in later years brought him peace and a love for all humanity.

George Harrison was a spiritual artist and an awaken being. He sought after greater purposes of life and gave music to his inner feelings and revelations in a rock era which was itself a challenging task to do.The depth of his songwriting and performances is unparalleled many of his songs have a real zenful effect.
And then of course his amazing slide.
He was really unique! George goes beyond The Beatles.That's my opinion.
