I certainly have admiration and appreciation for Thilo's bass player. He lays down a rock solid line.

Wow!! those Thilo Wolf arrangements are far out. And then- the best Baritone Sax solo Ive heard followed by an amazing Trombone solo.

There's something special about a baritone sax solo. I've always liked them; maybe my ears are tuned to the baritone reedy sound.

@@sonjamoises5763 We had a baritone sax player in our high school dance band back in the fifties. I liked it then. I like it now. I like to hear stories about band members. Years ago, on youtube, there was a comment on a Stan Kenton video. It was from the daughter of bassist Eddie Safranski. Sometimes the actual band musicians make comments in the youtube comment section and I really enjoy the comments. BTW, what does Sonja Moises play?

Yes, exactly correct. This is what players, arrangers, composers hope will happen when they have a gig. Everything works and sometimes players find themselves playing better than they have ever played. It's pure joy.
Come to India:) the Thilo Wolf quartet are playing here this Sunday. While we can't offer you WDR or SWR there's a lot more going on here.
