Every time you give us a thumbs up a Narwhal gets its horn! (maybe..)
Let's all throw things at J, because _he_ can't feel it! Ten points if you can get it through his stomach! Fifty points if it goes through his head!
Jappy Stache
OMG YAAS!!!
Thank you for making this joke!!!
This is beautiful!
Jappy Stache Why doesn’t this have more likes
Crap, what's that from?
I was going to comment that exactly, but you got there first, kudos sir
Best part of the ride is when the ghost follows you home
TPMvids I love your content! You and SuperCarlinBrothers are two of my favorite content creators!
TPMvids ❤❤❤
TPMvids Love your channel! 😍😍😍
Ayyyy TPMvids!
OMYGOODNESS TPMVIDS
The Haunted Mansion was my favorite movie for a while as a preteen. I watched it on DVD over and over again. I loved it because it was both funny and scary. I didn't realize I had such an unpopular opinion. 😂
LisaDaVonne me either 😂😂
I agree, I quite enjoyed it.
Same... big part of me and my sisters childhood
Me either!! I loved it!!
I use to love that movie! I still have it on VHS and DVD, i never realized it was unpopular. I always thought it was both hilarious and a bit creepy when i was younger. I havent watched it in forever so i may find it a bit cheesy now but id still love it just out of nostalgia
1:45 I watched that movie once on TV and I loved it!
It was hard for me to accept the fact that Disney SUCCEDED in doing a SCARY movie. Ok, it wasn't THAT scary, but you get the point
Fun Story time!
When my family took a trip to disneyworld we went on to the haunted mansion and it started raining while we were on the ride so we heard Madam Leota "speech" like 20 times
We had a similar incident occur when my family and I went to Disney World. There was either some sort of malfunction or someone with a disability or special needs needed to get off the ride, and we sat in Madame Leota’s room for like, 10 minutes or so. After a couple times of her saying the summons, my mom and I started repeating them too. It was really fun 😆😂🤣
What is your favorite ride at Disney World/Land?
SuperCarlinBrothers its a small world!
SuperCarlinBrothers I love you!
SuperCarlinBrothers definitely Haunted Mansion
At Disney world my favorite ride would probably be The seven dwarfs mine train or thunder mountain.(ps love your channel)
Haunted Mansion!
I was surprised that you didn't mention the fact that people who loved the park so much would request to have their ashes spread in the ride. There was such a problem with it, they had to get a special vaccuum for it.
InfinityOnHigh .. That's the pirate of the Caribbean ride
neicey bae nope, ashes have been spread of Haunted Mansion too.
Abbey Stone it's most DEFINATELY the pirates of the Caribbean ride u can even Google it.. maybe it's both but the pirates ride is notorious for it
Its a Small World is another thats notorious for it.
That makes it even creepier
I actually like the haunted mansion it's a decent film I think it's a little funny
Malica Hamilton same. I enjoy the movie and the ride.
Remember "Hey That's My Wife"- Eddie Murphy
I Looooved The haunted mansion movie!! I had no idea that wasn't popular opinion.
Oh it's just that the Eddie Murphy movie was regarded as a simple family movie.
It didn't live up to the potential of adapting The Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland, designed by Walt Disney himself and famous to be both creatively Gothic and ingeniously funny.
Director, Guillermo Del Toro has stated wanting to do a remake for years, one that's closer to the source material.
Kelly Mae I thought it was a pretty good movie
Why am I the only one who grew up thinking Eddie Murphy’s haunted mansion was hilarious?? It was my favorite movie lol
I love it to
Eh, I still want to see the Del Toro remake.
I love it. It’s fantastic...
eh I liked it but I didn't think it was funny at least not as a little kid lol
@@welcometothemetaverse2523 They're doing that!?
VERY Unpopular Opinion: I LOVE The Haunted Mansion movie 🙌🏼
Im with u
Agreed, it's not so bad. If you're a Disneyland fan there's a lot to like. Terence Stamp is amazing as the butler and Eddie Murphy is funny. It's better than 90% of made-for-TV movies.
Yesh
Same
Same ❤️😬❤️
I lived 10 years of my adolescent life living in Miami, FL. Whenever any of my relatives from New York would come down to visit us we would take them to Disney World for a day or so. The Haunted Manson was always one of my favorite rides. Now I am 51 years old and living in NYC. It's been decades since I last step foot in the park. I do miss it. Perhaps someday just for old time sake I can relive my youth and go for another ride in the dark spooky attraction. It's only fitting I do so being that I am what I would call a latent Goth (I became Goth during my middle age years). LOL!
The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides in Disney World. I️ also love the movie, even though most others do not!
3Blackbird's Nest I love the movie and the ride, too.
3Blackbird's Nest I also love the movie and ride, I have no idea what he was talking about
I love the movie too 💚
i really loved it too! and i first saw it before pirate's of the caribbean, didn't know they released at the same time? but nonetheless both are great films! never listen to critics and judge for yourself, i say! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
It’s my favorite ride and the movie was ehh, whenever Eddie Murphy wasn’t acting like a goofball is when I loved it.
The Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride at Disneyland. Gothically and endlessly creative, it has so much going on that it's hard to see everything in one viewing and manages to be both scary and fun!
for some reason I ended up loving The Haunted Mansion movie, so much so that I bought the DVD when I was a kid and would watch it every so often. I would always find myself singing:
"Where's the key?
Where's the key?
Where's that beautiful key?
Find the key
Find the key
Oh how happy you'll be."
whenever I was looking for something, or if I misplaced any sort of key. also when the movie came out there was a ton of advertisements for the tower of terror, which made me really want to go on that ride. Weird enough, the Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror (now butchered into the Guardians of the Galaxy ride) are my top favorite rides at Disney Land. Every time I visited Disneyland I would make it a priority to go on both of those rides.
I have 3 books each with 1,001 facts written on Disneyland and/or Disney World! The Haunted Mansion definitely has the most in depth and interesting facts. I have more facts on the Haunted Mansion than I do all of California adventure park! It is so cool. It is very hard to find a video with accurate and interesting information and presented beautifully like this. I am so happy and impressed! I have always loved your channel, but now these Disney Park videos have me loving it even more!
ThemeParkAuthor I loooooooovvvvvveeeeeeeeee your books! Disney Till You’re Dizzy! All day, every day!
Oh my goodness that is so cool 😎
I remembered haunted mansion!! I loved that movie as a kid 😂
You forgot Swiss Family Robinson.
I love that tree... which I think later on down the line they turned it into Tarzan‘s Tree.
In Disney World it's still the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse.
Jennifer McMahon they changed Swiss Family Robinson?! are you referring to land or world?
Dew Drinker6 Disneyland; which I think they changed it to Tarzan... not sure what it is today though.
Additionally even if they have one Disney World.
Jennifer McMahon no they didn’t
Donya Ren yeah they do, it's near the jungle cruise and it's still sfr
I thought that this movie was a classic! We had the DVD my whole childhood! Seriously, guys. Watch it!
Classic's a strong word.
It’s a fantastic movie!
LoquaciousLaners42 wot
If it was a classic, it would've been black and white. Classics are VERY old. For example, Beethoven's music was Classic
I only went to Disney world once, and we had to wait 1 hour in a line for a ride that kept stopping. It was cool but my family hated it
A Choking Fish which ride was it?
@@claireoconnor307 the haunted mansion
I thought my comment made that clear when I wrote this but after a second read I think not
IM NOT EVEN KIDDING I WAS IN THE HAUNTED MANSION 20 MINUTES AGO!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT!? Thats awesome! ...and spooky!
LILALOVESTINY 13 were you at Disneyland just now
LILALOVESTINY 13 you could of been because Disney is still open.
Daniela I was at Disney world. I was eating when I posted this😂
SuperCarlinBrothers I love you guys!!!
My favorite Disney... anything. This is my number one favorite Disney property. I’m so glad you guys are finally doing a video on this wonderful ride!
I miss this movie. I watched it a lot when I was growing up
i didn't even know this ride existed. The movie was to scary for me as a kid
Same!!!!!
I remember this movie because I was so scared watching it and my mom wouldn't let me leave the theater bc I'd insisted on making her come to that one instead of the one the rest of of my family wanted
I never went inside The Haunted Mansion. Mostly because I never been to disneyland before
Yeah, same here, would you go in it if you went to Disneyland? I probably wouldn't because scary stuff really isn't my thing and my mom most likely wouldn't let us anyway...
Oh I don’t like very scary stuff either. It’s a great balance between fun and scary. If you ever go to Disneyland you should go on it. It’s actually my favorite ride and, again, I hate horror and stuff like that.
Actually one of the top best rides at the park. It's creativity and gothic atmosphere make both scary and entertaining.
Well, until you get the chance, here is a ride through video of the Haunted Mansion:
czcams.com/video/ZAnYRlNDM5A/video.html
It broke down when I was on it and we had to walk out and it was terrifying 😣
9:46 does anyone else hear the sirens in the background? J WHAT DID YOU DO?!
smexyanimebabe *J not Jay. His real name is Jonathan but he just goes by J! I’m sorry I just had to fix that. Have a good day/night!:)
Good catch dude! Sirens from what sounded like an ambulance must've sneaked past their editing techniques, haha!
🔊🔊🚓😁🚑😂🚒🤣🚔🔊🔊
Stephen Harvey the popo got yo numbah bro bro!
Thank God others heard it. I honestly freaked out a little when it can on.
I really love the haunted mansion, I think that it is defiantly one of my favorite rides in the park!
ZOEY MEEKS yeah it's my favourite too
p.s. you spelled definitely wrong🖒
Yeah I see that, I'm really bad at grammar; especially when I'm typing fast. lol
ZOEY MEEKS don't even trip it's okay. 🖒
ZOEY MEEKS "definitely" not "defiantly".
Am I the only one who attempts to sing the intro? Ba DUM dada badada DUM dadada daaa daaa daaa!
Rachem 05 I dance along
Rachem 05 i just sanged it as I read this XD
no, absolutely not!
I do too, don't worry..........
Is it possible to not?
Quote from walt
“We’ll take care of the outiside and let the ghost take care of the inside”
The haunted mansion is definitely my favorite ride at Disneyland when I went when I was eight and I made my grandma take me on it like a hundred times and mean my friends still laugh at a few of the jokes in haunted Mansion
I’m loving all the Disney videos lately. I’m staying for just under two weeks in 95 days
The Haunted Mansion remains one of my favorite Disney rides of all time!! It is a must do for every visit to the Magic Kingdom!
This is about the one in Disneyland
Btw I loved the haunted mansion movie
Daerk_nightwolf Eddie Murphy was a good touch to it
Right??? That movie was jokes.
SAME
That scene where they're in the mausoleum getting the key freaked me out as a kid!
Daerk_nightwolf
I don't LOVE it, but it's a Halloween classic with my family!
I love the Stretching room! It's awesome! (I don't know if this is in all the parks but it is in Eurodisney) I like the painting that change into darker versions of it!
Haunted mansion was a must for me when I went to Disneyland for the first time last year. It was so witty and entertaining, regardless of how old it is. I love it.
After the intro, "You do realize this is April, not October. Right?"
Joel Dowdell What?
Haunted mansion was actually a pretty good movie
You should do a video on the lore/story of the mansion, it's pretty cool!!
PERCY JACKSON THEORY PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesssss
As a kid I visited Disneyland Paris once or twice every year and I was terrified of Phantom Manor (which is their name for their version of the haunted mansion) however when I went to Disney World, it was interesting to see the different tale they had on the Haunted Mansion as it is more comedic as you said. Each park has a a different style of house and different feel (be that funny or scary) to their version of the ride.
Great video as always, as a Disney parks nerd this is a dream come true
HOI! I actually like the Haunted Mansion movie!
unfortunately I've never been on the ride, sadly I've never been to any Disney Theme Park :/
Neither have I.
ThatGamerScott same bro...same....
Same here
The Haunted Mansion is literally both funny and Scary!!!
love this video! Can you please also do one about the ride actually being haunted and focusing on the characters and their back stories?
I LOVE Imaginary Worlds! I was wondering if you had heard it before, so when I heard you mention the episode it was just wicked cool.
HEYYYY BR..... Waaaait what's going on 😂👻👻👻👻
Br, you mean brother right?
Fancy Jammie K i thought he was pretending to be high lmao
Haunted mansion was a good movie 7 year old me will fight you
Oh it's just that the Eddie Murphy movie was regarded as a simple family movie.

Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion is better than Disney World’s because Disney World doesn’t have the Hatbox Ghost
I wish Disney World had the Hatbox Ghost though.
Even though Disney world have a better outside looking mansion and the queue itself is wayyyyy better, and we have two rooms that your mansion don’t even have aka the library and mystery staircase, and the fact that our stretching room actually stretches and goes up rather than yours that goes down, and the fact our mansion actually opened with the park. But don’t worry when our 50th anniversary comes they already said it’s coming😉 then Disney World will have the better haunted mansion because we’ll have the hat box ghost, the mystery staircase, and the library.
Which Disneyworld had haunted mansion? it wasnt in magic kingdom when i went...
Every Disney has a haunted mansion, maybe different names but everyone does (except one i may be mistakening)
Daniel Richardson Shanghai doesn't Disney felt they have to great a respect for the dead in China and that it would come across as insensitive.
What? I LOVED that movie! D: "Key find the key find the beautiful key~! Find the key find the key oh how happy you'll be!" is something I quote daily!
Honestly the haunted Mansion is my favorite ride at the park. Ever since I was a little kid that's almost always been the first ride my family goes to. And I loved the movie, in fact it's one of my favorites.
Agreed. But Disney is family friendly so it would be funny. And to be honest I didn't mind the haunted mansion film
Ed the time lord not all things that come from Disney, are family friendly.
Audra Sargent to true im no stranger to Disney conspiracy theories. #SCB
Scary or funny?
Stretching room: Pictures funny, host funny, hanging body from ceiling scary.
Lightning hallway: Paintings scary, statues scary.
Through hallways on the doom buggy: mostly scary but not bad
Floating ball: not too scary instruments are funny
Dining room with party: mostly funny, ghosts seem to be messing around and partying
Attic with axe lady: Scary, pictures scary, lines scary
Hatbox ghost: Funny
Graveyard song: Funny (except jumping ghosts)
Hitchhiking ghosts: Funny
That evil laugh is everything 😂
Haunted Mansion attraction is a pure masterpiece! Keep these Disney Park videos coming!
If you look up the story behind the Haunted mansion, it has a whole story behind it, which also includes the reason why (in Disney land Paris I don’t know if it’s there everywhere else) when you are going down in the stretching room, if you look up you can see a dead body swinging. It’s also got details about the bride that is crying, and the ghosts dancing. I really love the story behind it and I find it so cool that they came up with an entire story to go with the ride
i love you guys
keep doing wat you guys do
first time anyone liked my comment(:
Who else heard the siren in the background near the end? Like at around 9:45
Am I the only one who loves the Haunted Mansion movie? Maybe is just because it has Eddie Murphy and I love Eddie Murphy
No you're not. But it could have been so much better!
I used to be a cast member and went a a few walk-throughs of the haunted mansion (with and without Nightmare Before Christmas Overlays) and i learned a lot about the effects and actually got to be a part of the ballroom scene as a "pepper's ghost". the floating ball is not achieved using the pepper's ghost technique. its actually a glass ball on filament rising and lowering in sync with a projector. if the projected image was projected on a flat screen, it would look like a DVD player screen saver, with the face growing and shrinking in size as it moves around. The effect is made even better by adding candles to the scene to distract the eye away from the point of light coming from the projector.
I LOOVED the film. I remember watching it as a kid and I still remember one specific scene, with the tomb and the spiders on the door. I rewatched it a few weeks ago and it's actually pretty darn good
His biceps look huge in this video lol. I never realized that before hah
Have you guys seen the series of unfortunate events on Netflix? IT HAS KRONK NARRATING IT!!
And Mr. Barkin from Kim Possible. And the Soarin' flight attendant host (at least in WDW)
I only remember last going on the ride in October so it was nightmare before Christmas themed and the only font thing in it was the fact that their was a present that said To Ian, and Ian is my brother’s name, so we kept telling him not to look in his presents at Christmas.
My family ran our own haunted house in my grandmother's house from when I was 6-12 years old (which was a huge success btw and helped us to raise money for charity) and during that time, we'd all take trips to Disneyland and go on the Haunted Mansion ride as many times as possible in order to get inspiration for it. We ended up using a lot of the special effects from it like the Peppers ghost and some of the music. Now every time I go on it I like to observe how it's all built and it just brings back great memories.
You guys are on a Disney Parks roll and I love it! I'm a big Disney World fan, keep it up 👏
THAT'S MY BROOM!
Cade Shortt 😂😂😂 Out of all comments, this one swept me off my chair. Now, Im the floor dying of laughter. 💀👻
One time me and my family were at Disney and we got to see behind the scenes of The Haunted Mansion cuz it broke down and they couldn't get it fixed so they had to turn on the lights and we had to walk off the right it was really really cool
G Zappia
Yeah, ghosts get run over and stuck in the wheels from time to time...
I recently went to Disney World and I was actually really curious about this myself so I looked it up
The 12-17th?
This was such a cool history of the ride! Please do more of these for other rides and attractions!
I love that ride! My first time on it the ride was almost empty because most of the park guests were watching the (then) brand new Fantasmic. You couldn't even feel the elevator moving because it was not weighed down. Man, such a fun ride. 😄 I found it spooky-funny. Spooky but you're having such a fun time that any scariness was brushed away.
LOVE THE VIDEO!!!!!
Oh My Goof, Thanos snapped his fingers, which has froze J in mid-disintegration! 0:27 Oh, nevermind!
1:33 I *JUST* now noticed there's a bat in the "H" of Haunted, god I'm an idiot!
1:47 I remember it, I remember a few years ago it was on T-box demand my reaction was: "Oh My GOOOOOOOSH!, YES I CAN WATCH IT AGAIN AFTER SO LONG!"(I had it when I was little, I don't remember getting scared from it)
HEY BROTHER!
Sebastian Emery bye brother 😂👋
Brother never leaves . . .
The Haunted Mansion is my wife's favorite ride at Disney. We have been pass holders to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and actually used to live literally next door to WDW. The ride is a classic and if you ever get the chance to take the keys to the kingdom tour at WDW, you will get some cool insider knowledge of the ride. Funny you should bring up that the ride had two people working on it with differing views. The ride is split into two. It starts off "scary" and then becomes funny. The tipping point is when you "fall" out of the attic to your death and end up in the graveyard. Also, you should look into the history of the Hat Box Ghost at Disneyland.
My wife and I absolutely love your channel, and she has made it a game to see if she can beat the two of you when you do your J vs Ben series. Keep up the amazing work guys!
J, I just have to say that I was at Disney the week after you guys, but I kept seeing all of you Disney posts while I was at Disney. I got so excited because I thought I might actually see you guys there, but oh well. While I was on the haunted mansion ride and it was stopped for like 10 minutes, and I didn't think anything of it until I saw your haunted mansion post, I'm so sad now that we didn't stop for you guys to do something. That would have been so cool!
I remember when I was 6 we went to the haunted mansion and I was so scared and now I just want to go back so I see if it was that scary
I’m actually at Disney right now...sadly we won’t be visiting the Haunted Mansion this time, even tho it’s my favorite...buuuuut I love Epcot...and we are going to Epcot...but yaaaaaaay!!!!
lol go to Disneyland it's better.
This is my favorite ride ever yayyy
I'll always remember my first experience at the haunted mansion! I remember being amazed at the ghosts they look so real and the rising ceiling was incredible as well. Probably the most significant ride I rode, it's my main memory of my trip to Disney when I was about 12.
This is one of my favorite ride at Disney World. It is a must every time we go.
U know, when i went to disney, and went and road that ride, one of the "elevator" or maids had her hand over my head, like most of the time and i FINALLY looked up at her and she looked like she wanted to kill me
XD
I know I’m a year late but there’s now a Disney book called tales from the Haunted Mansion volume 1 the fearsome foursome and it’s great
Edit: you know when this is a Harry Potter channel when the top comments are Harry Potter jokes on a Disney video
Honestly I really like the haunted mansion ( the movie) lol
i loooove disneyland’s haunted mansion!!! it’s one of my favorites especially during christmas when they make it nightmare before christmas themed
I went on the Haunted Mansion ride when I was five. My most vivid memory from the ride is my grandmother dropped her keys during the extending portrait bit, and it was pretty dark, so I was on the ground during it trying to retrieve them. The rest of the ride TERRIFIED me. I cried as we went through it. And yet, I loved it so much, I wanted to go back the next day.
Good review, but if you want a really really good and in depth review of the haunted mansion check out the "stuff you missed in history class" podcast. they did a 2 part review of it.
That laugh tho!
I never understood this ride, thanks for telling us all!
OHMYGOD THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING ME REMEMBER THAT AWESOME MOVIEE!! I watched it as a kid and i remember it being soo scary!
I absolutely loved the haunted Mansion and every year we would all watch it together as a family since it had something for everyone
9:48 Is it just me or was there a siren?
Tbf this movie is my favourite Disney movie... haters be hating
I thought the haunted mansion was based on the movie😱
Oh no, this ride was way before its time.
It opened in 1969 and was pitched by Walt Disney himself. But Walt died before the ride was finished, leaving designers to decide whether it should be funny or scary. So they chose both.
Haunted Mansion is such a good movie. I watched it so many times as a kid. I just really loved the main characters. I'm even terrified of scary movies and loved this movie.
I went to the Disney World version. Thing I remember most was in the stretching room, the portraits would change from people to skeletons. Freaked the hell out of me.
Theory thought: could Hei Hei be a spirit guide?
I don't think he is, considering the whole point of Moana was about her not needing a guide (Maui) and finding her own way. It would be silly for them to craft this whole story about how she doesn't need a guide just for them to have written Hei Hei to be a spirit guide.
But her grandmother came to her from the spirit realm to help her.
Becki Dawn Her grandmother did come to her from the spirit realm. But if you remember, her grandma's message was basically "You got this, everything you need is already inside you, you just have to reach out and take it." She helped her only in that she helped Moana realize that she didn't need anyone's help and that she could do it herself.
I think Hei Hei, is more of the animal sidekick, and comic relief. Now the pig might have been her spirit guide, but it seems he was writing out of the movie.
I LOVED THE HAUNTED MANSION IT WAS SOO GOOD FOR MY LITTLE CHILD BRAIN
Wow im early! HEYYYY BROTHERR😛
So when I went to Disney not that long ago the ride kept stoping (never fully broke down) me and my cousins (two cousins)got chills . One of them cussed at the ghosts . We got scared.
Haunted Mansion is a must whenever my family and I go to Disney. I love it. Whenever the lights shut off in the stretching room my sister loves to scream bloody murder and scare nearly everyone since that's not actually part of the ride.
