If you disconnect the drl wire it will just dim the C bars. From what I understand the C bars stay hot all the time regardless of fuse tap wire. Idk. That’s what I hated about my morimotos. Especially huntin. Cheers brother 🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thanks for the video. I have my XB DRLs hooked up to a switch pro switch where I can turn them off. I would hook this grille up to the same source so I can kill it if needed.. THis looks great.. I want the black version but not to paint.. wonder how well that will hold up.. wonder if it will scratch easy and lose that gloss.
Nice! Where did you get the switch? I assume it would be just like a upfitter that I have…..time will tell about scratches, but I think it will be fine. I assumed the black paint to match was only needed to be painted if you didn’t want black. So I’m gonna roll with it. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
@@COLTSWAY Looks like my initial reply didn't stick - guess it doesn't like a link and treats it like span.. I got the sp9100-switch-panel-power-system from switch-pros . Allows me to run all my lights to the main box under the hood and just a control wire runs from it into the cab.. I mounted the switch on the cluster on the roof with sunroof switches etc.. I got my off ebay back in 2018 for a good price.. while its pricey, I recommend something like this if you are going to have multiple lights hooked up. I have a strobe - emergency mode that enable all my led lights/bars to strobe.. one of the buttons is wired to the DRLs so I can have them on or off with a touch of a button.
Son -Always protect & secure with no hurrys , work smart not hard we can see the steam out yal ears , bought & self installed the white XB headlights in 2020 a gift from Trump ...looking to do this until the 23 arrives....then start all over 😅😮

I’ve already tried that. It won’t work. Might could change it in forscan though. I’m just gonna put it on a upfitter though.
Just an FYI, I’m pretty sure if you run that fuse tap to an upfitter, you will lose your turn signals when the switch is off. But I’m not 100% sure about that.
