Could you explain to me what consent is ???
You ask the horse for them to show willing to work with Dr Doug?
I accept and agree that that is good idea. Dr Doug also talked about animals and children being bullied into giving consent? And that's what happened to me ever since I was a child
I have been told that consent given under duress is not consent
Again I like the theory but the reality for me, has always been the complete opposite.
If I say no to people in power: if I defy them. I will be punished or tortured untill I am too frightened or in too much pain - to try to be defiant and say no again.
As far as I can see having rights is the right for the others to beat you until you doing what they say you must including lying about your reasons for doing it?
This is what happens to me everyday. Can you explain to me why I am reading this wrong?
Can I just say help?? Is there something wrong in my understanding of what consent is???

Prince is so patient with the care you gave him.
Dr. Doug, you pushed and prodded him, then pulled his tail, back, left, and right to free his hips. He turned his head to see your work and calmly went along with your moves.
You gained his trust, so essential in his acceptance of your presence and work.

What a sweet natured boy Prince is. I know about arthritis pain & when you get done adjusting him he's going to feel much better! By the way, he looks really good for being close to 20 years old. Ahh Dr Willen, you made me smile 😊 and where else can we see a chiropractor dancing salsa 💃 and adjusting at the same time, well nowhere, only on Dr Doug’s channel 👌. Prince is a beautiful horse and the way you’ve adjusted his front legs and listened to you to pull them back was awesome 👏. His back did really come up, the tail pulls was nice, he even looked at you dancing and thought, “Not, I’m not ready for that level except maybe moving my hips 😂”. Amazing video, Dr. Doug. I must admit that I have recently started re-watching your older ones because I was missing the horsey stuff.
Your salsa bit got me laughing. And I am so glad and thankful for yours and for all the other volunteer's work in saving these beautiful creatures from slaughter and in further taking care of them.
If someone would ever decide to rename this horse then I would go for the name Artist. With all the salsa moves that he has learned. Yeah. This is definitely a fitting name. Artist formerly known as Prince.

Especially as an older horse, it's so important to get people like you out to them. A good chiropractic adjustment on any horse, no matter its age, is always a good thing.
