A week later the weather was sooooo much hotter. Great run!!
It's certainly warming up but think we'll get another cold patch with fresh snow soon. Cheers!
Wow. The black trails at that place seem to demand another color such as shocking pink.
It's probably why they call it Harakiri... It's not such a nice word in Japanese...
great vid
Thanks, the wet snow didn't help, though. It kept sticking to the lens of the camera...
Опасный уклон
Yes, my edges were barely holding at one stage...
Are either of those two black, especially the Harikari more demanding then run 14a in Isgl, as 14a is said to be the steepest black run in Austria?
I'd say they are on a par, similar steepness. I could feel my edges barely holding, and my skis were recently serviced, so edges were good.
I think the steepest is The Streif in Kitzbühel at 85%, which I was going to do as I was there first but checked, and it was closed, so I ended up in Mayrhofen...
@@ChasingSnow Right, thanks for the info. Sometime in the future when I'm as comfortable skiing as I now am driving in traffic in a city, I may if I'm not to old by then ski 14a or the Harikari, as they are part of the scary 7 runs of Europe.
@@Puzzoozoo OK, I suppose they are easier when the snow is softer so choose your moment wisely :-) What are the 7 scary runs of Europe?
@@ChasingSnow Run 14a in Ishgl.
Le Tunnel in Alpe d'Huez.
The Black Wall in Glacia 3000 - which you have already skied.
The world famous Face de Bellevarde, Stade Olympique in Val d'Isère.
Inferno in Mürren.
Forcella Staunies in Cortina.
The infamous 'Swiss Wall' in Les Portes du Soleil.
Health wise, and if I'm not to old by the time I may get to advanced or expert ski skill wise, I'm probably crazy enough to want try to ski them all, just for a personnel challenge and the satisfaction that I did it.
We shall see. 🙂
@Puzzoozoo ok, so I've covered 4 so far. I'm planning to be in Portes du Soleil on Thursday, so hopefully I can do Swiss Wall. Unfortunately Le Tunnel was closed when I was there (this season) so I can hopefully cover the remaining two next season as I do more resorts in Italy...
