This was most likely the last race day of 2021 and I wanted to make sure I gave it everything it had. I performed my final bit of weight reduction as well as tossing in a fancy concoction of mine that I dubbed "Boogie Juice". I managed to get the car to work as well as it has all year and it demonstrated some serious consistency. I have been truly impressed with what a simple bolt on build was able to accomplish without a ported supercharger, no meth injection and no divorced cooling system. Integrated Engineering's Dual Pulley/Throttle Body E40 tuning including all of their bolt on parts, as well as MercRacing's S6 Heat Exchanger and Coolant Pump work amazingly well in my 2012 Audi S4.

Lol, thanks! Thought I'd rock the IE swag for my mainly IE built car for possibly the last race day of the year. I honestly believe this car has a low 10.8 in it with lower DA and the same track conditions that I had on this day. Hopefully I get to find out.

Cheap suggestions to try... drop a heat range in your spark plugs and instead of the fancy fuel add meth injection. Run a big reservoir with a 50/50 mix and fill the reservoir with ice. On top of the additional benefits of higher octane it's going drastically lower your in cylinder air temperatures and it's going to clean the carbon off your valves and keep them clean. I would also check crankcase pressure. Those engines are notorious for the oil separator failing. You tune your car frequently so you could be tuning out a massive vaccum leak. I've been watching your videos for a while and I think I remember you saying you didn't have the rear sport differential. I'm not caught up on my Audi research but going open diff to lsd would make a big difference. I would really like to see you do 10.50 or better all day long. I like your S4 more than your RS3. You're RS3 is disappointingly slow for what it's capable of doing.
I'm already running colder plugs. I have no interest in running meth injection in a daily driven car. I have no interest in filling a reservoir with ice on a daily driven vehicle as well. My valves are spotless. We just cleaned them around 7,000km ago. Crankcase pressure is fine. You are correct, I do not have the sport diff. For someone that claims you've been watching my videos for a while I'm surprised you spent the time recommending all of these items when I clearly state I'm done modding this car in this video. The fact you think my RS3 is disappointingly slow just confirmed the fact you have no idea what you are talking about, lol. My RS3 still stands as the 2nd quickest hybrid turbo RS3 in the world. Ported blower is a pretty standard upgrade for b8 s4. I know everyone is different but imo FBO for our cars is everything you’ve got plus a ported blower. Slap one on next season and see what she does!
Pretty standard for people that want to spend another 2k on their build. I didn't.

@@luislozano1513 also I live in Canada using CAD which makes it roughly 30% more expensive to purchase anything from the States, meaning it would be closer to $2500CAD for me after install.

Why don’t you reset your ECU between fuel changes. It takes a couple runs or so for it to learn on its own that you are using different fuel. The car probably didn’t know you gave it special juice on the last two runs.
Why are you assuming I didn't do that? You do realize that when I tuned to the 2200rpm Fuel Cut Launch all of my fuel trims reset yes?

Not to sound like a total A-hole, but that wasn't fast. You need to be running 8.99's or quicker or 150mph or faster to need a cage now on an NHRA certified track

@@sqrlnts1 all NHRA certified tracks have the same rules and regulations you are forced to follow or they boot your butt off the track. But yes, my track follows those NHRA rules.

is dual pulley still reliable for these motors if you have the upgraded cooling and deleting the cats? or should I go single to maintain reliability? For refrence I have a 2014 audi a6 with 130k First owner took extremely good care of this care never skipped an oil change. I'm currently stage 1 by jackal.
If the car is well cared for and you've already removed the cats, dual pulley should still be solid.
@@VancityAudi does longevity go out the window? I heard when running dual pulley you start running into issues with the supercharger’s cooling veins? Or it leaking or something
@EGEIS9 the cooling bricks inside the supercharger do sometimes leak coolant. Not for everyone though. It's just potentially a problem.
@@VancityAudi how can I prevent that leak? I plan on keeping the 3.0t platform for a bit cause they are extremely fun and unique so I wanna better my knowledge about them
@@EGEIS9preventative maintenance would be to buy new cooling bricks and replace them. Might be a little overkill seeing as it doesn't happen to a ton of people though.

As soon as I have confirmation that the track is closed for the year, all of the interior is going back to stock. I never removed the exhaust.

I'm running the IE e40 in my 2013 Q5 with ZF 8hp slushbox IE aggressive tune and the Q5 its a great daily driver. My times via VBOX sport are more mid - high 11's but it weighs more.

race gas mix daily driven 10 sec all day my ass. 10 on strip thats it. but still pretty sick.
11.1 on the street with a pump gas & ethanol blend on a single attempt. I daily drove the car like that for months. Every day errands, to work, to the gym. You name it, I used my car for that.
@@VancityAudi right point is not 10 seconds in a daily driven setup. not knocking the build. anything sub-12 seconds as a street car is a rocketship
@@01010001000a it is in a daily driven setup. That's the point. That is how I used that car each and every day for months. The only difference was the fuel and as I talked about in the video, it did F all for me in terms of performance. I saw the same power and the same timing advancement on a mix of pump gas and Ethanol. Nothing was gained. The way the car was shown in the video was the exact same way I used it as a daily driver.
Since you've smashed into the 10s can you sell it and do the same with a b9 😊

btw, i installed double coolant pump, you should try that it lowers IAT temp a lot, but in seauquence.

On this day I was hitting between 57 and 66 degrees at the end of the 1/4 mile run.
@@VancityAudi definitely need try to swap the hx to a merc one, this 034 isn’t working getting to 80+ iat without the meth, witch is horrible

@@VancityAudi yes everything has been done to this b8.5 also upgraded coolant pump cwa-100 pump, 034 hx, new intercoolers, bleed over and over multiple different ways, not divorced yet but I don’t think that’s the problem but we will see here soon enough after this hx gets swapped for the merc one
