BRICK BY BRICK- documentary

Everynight Maryam gets up at midnight to get to work in the brick factory where she lives with her family who were forced off their village and left farming behind.
The workers in the factory are suffering from illness from the excessive pollution in the factory. As record-breaking heatwaves sweep across Iraq, Maryam’s story reflects the struggle of thousands who are displaced by water scarcities and rising temperatures. "Brick by Brick" documents the lives of these factory workers as they strive to make a living and adapt to the challenging situation.
