- The KIDD Original Supergrade .22 Receiver with integral scope base, rear tang, threaded breech, and extended front tang. Machined from billet using 6061 T6 aluminum offered in black or silver.
This receiver was phased out of production in 2016 when KIDD developed a new improved Premium Supergrade Receiver which has a unique barrel interchangeable system with an extra long barrel extension of 1 7/8" length (compared to the standard 3/4" barrel extension). With this design the customer can now easily slip the barrel in and out of the receiver without resistance and still maintain the up most in stability and harmonics. KIDD now offers this alternative with our three part locking and stabilizing system sliding into a reinforced receiver.

Kidd is so good, he doesn't even cut corners on the countersunk holes... ummm... well you know what I mean.
You must inlet the stock in order to fit the rear tang. Good shooting, 10/22 Kidd

I'd love to get my hands on one of these as this would be an easy gunsmithing project compared to barreling and chambering a bolt requiring exact headspace specs..I just saw this vid and I know I'm about 10 years too late but I've done the threading and rebarreling of Volquartsen stainless actions with a 1:10 twist Shilen select match for the 60 gr Aguila round. It is tough but special projects are what I live for and worth it but a job to do it was super accurate/consistant..

I would really like to know the answer to the previous question regarding the need for a threaded barrel. I could thread my forged bull barrel, but I'm not sure about indexing!? I
REALLY like this well thought out receiver! I just hope I'm able to use my barrel.
We offer the Hogue OM or Boyds stocks and the KID barrels or you can add other brands of your choice.
Looks cool! How do you get a price for an entire upper IE receiver barrel action everything to bold in except the trigger assembly? I looked on your site and couldn't exactly put it together.
Do we have to modify our stocks to accept that second screw point at the back of the receiver?
Hey Kidd you should at least offer these as a option with barrels/shims again or do you feel it isn't necessary with the press fit tolerance?

Those Kidds make make some good stuff. I got a trigger group and the bolt buffer (maybe some other stuff also). Pleased with everything.
Does this reciever only work on aftermarket stocks?

Unfortunately this video is a bit dated. The current receivers have a cleaning hole in the rear.

Has anyone tried to inlet a house over mold stock. I want to put a Kidd barreled action in one and use it for steel challenge and the occasional target. Or rabbit gun.
