As a Slovenian Arex makes me proud
As a German, everything brings me shame.
Mad an American I cannot wait to see these new models here on store shelves.
@@bmartin863 I have never seen an arex product here in Iowa. Shame because some of it looks pretty cool
Perun X16, isn’t too shabby either
As it should
Even though I don't own any Arex pistols (yet), I really respect this company. They're listening to what their customers want and seem to be doing a pretty damn good job of it.
Nothing but respect for them, and I hope to see Arex get the success and recognition it deserves.
Those are some damn good looking pistols. Arex has been killing it lately. :)
I'm glad they are continuing to make these guns. The original ZERO 1 was reliable no question, just in need of a few refinements here and there.
Love my Zero 1. Have 1500+ rounds through her with ZERO malfunctions.
I have wanted to try the ZERO 2 but the lack of an optic was a hindrance. The ZERO 2 with optic capability is a go. Hurry up and get it over here Arex!
I've always kinda wanted an arex, its like the sig you have at home.
Nates was so nervous, I kinda feel bad for him. But he did a good enough job to convey the information.
I have the Rex Zero 1 and the Delta and both are very nice. Arex is a great gun company that deserves more love.
I like that the Tactical comes with a comp instead of just a thread protector; some of us just like the taller sights and will never run a can :)
I am in love …less cost then a p226 or p229 and just as reliable plus optic cut with out the legion price tag 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I am in love with the Zero 2 Compact. Definitely gonna get one!
Beautiful. Arex has become one of my favorite gun manufacturer
I want one. Take my money
I AIWB carry a Delta M Gen 2 and love it. It's very slim which helps me conceal it, has great ergonomics, is reliable, and the price point was perfect. I can't wait for these new variants of the Zero to become available in the US so I can get my hands on them and try them for myself!
They look cool, so naturally I want them.
Arex's are such a great value for the money
I can’t wait! Love my Arex Zero1.
Amazing guns! I've "discovered" Alpha Pistols only the previous year (2022), they made very good, realiable and goodlooking guns, with affordable prices. I'm planning to buy one soon :)
2023: McDonalds Hash browns are $3 and "affordable" pistols are 2k Euros. Such prosperous times in thus roaring economy.
Keep making the zero1 I still need to pick one up!
Thanks Nate.
That Alpha looks 🔥 I love my Rex Zero 1 Tactical Compact.
I want one bad, was looking into a 229 legion, I currently carry a 509c. Only reason I'm considering anything besides FN is I want a metal hammer gun.How much was yours?
I still just want an original Arex Alpha, they're such good looking guns.
No need to apologize. They are constantly pushing the boundaries of their products and innovating and including features we want. We understand that takes time.
I’m just glad he cleared up the trigger weight kilos by throwing in the 18 newtons
I have a Rex zero 1 tactical and it honestly a really nice gun. Great suppressor host. I’d really like to try the new Rex zero 2 and alpha.
Didnt hear that they fixed the awfully long DA trigger on Alpha, its simply hard to reach for many shooters. CZ figured this out and their Shadow 2 is totally dominating in IPSC competition.
Yup. I chose a Shadow 2 over an Alpha. There's currently about a $400 difference in street price between the two, and the S2 still wins (despite being more expensive). I can buy mags, holsters, parts, all day for the CZ. Can't find diddly squat for the Alpha.
No question about this, what an incredible design and based from previous zero 1 testings it going to be a superior choice
Their website has said "coming soon" on the OR Zero 2 for over a year. To find out they aren't even in production yet.
Arex & I have very different definitions of soon.
The alpha and the race versions aren't in production yet the zero 2s are already shipping to the US. Global ordinance has them in stock right now.
@LeadSlinger2A Thank you for following up on the info, bud!
My comment was directed more towards the Optics Ready and Tactical versions.
I know you can take a slide from Zero1 and slap it on a Zero2. So it still seems if I want it then I "need" to buy both. As I've told my wife, I "need" both
@@bagel411 tell your wife i need some money to
Cool looking pistols
I have an Alpha and I absolutely love it. If it was optic ready it would be my favorite gun, even over my Staccato.
Love the way it looks, really considering getting one it's been that or Canik Rival S except those are impossible to find except at retarded price rn but the Alpha just looks so sexy. Does it shoot pretty flat?
@@dewdrummer4384 It's not the flattest shooting gun that I have, it does have a bore axis that is a little high, kinda like my P320 X5 Legion,...but it has a pretty light slide, so that helps. It's well tuned though, so the gun is definitely fast
They badly need to import these to Australia, I and many others have been keen to get one but no one here sells them.
How strict are the gun laws over there? You are able to own pistols for example?
@@MedievalMan Importation of firearms is administered Federally whereas actual firearm laws are administered state by state. Every state agreed to the National Firearms Agreement in 1996 and the handgun amendments in 2002 so all our laws are loosely the same and each state has their own pros and cons for firearms. In every state you can legally buy a pistol for club shooting but how you obtain the license is different and states require at least 6 attendances a year where some will require 10, some states allow people who are club licensed to put stocks on handguns some require a permit and others outright ban them. Revolvers' have to have a 100mm barrel and semi-autos have to have a 120mm barrel and 10 round mag. Ruger Chargers and PC chargers are sold here as we also have a law for importation called appearance where if the firearm looks like a firearm in a higher category then it is that higher category and both those Ruger products have the green light to be imported even though there are semi-auto rifle versions of both of them. Local company's produce tactical pump actions and straight pull to get around importing them but in some states mainly WA and NSW those type of firearms are banned. If these are anything like the previous offerings they will be around 700-1000 US depending on the trim. As for the tricked out race version, no idea maybe 1400-1500. You get a gun that is insanely reliable (check the gauntlet test) and has fantastic ergonomics, optics cut, etc.
Shit he's talk $2000.
Arex zeros today can be found for 400-460 btw.
@Edmondson Ave tell me you don't understand finances without saying it. The euro is worth like 1.3× what the US dollar is. So after taxes it's more like 2400. Which is INSANE when I can get a staccato for less
@TheBholeDestroyer You do realize pistols cost a lot more in Europe right? A basic p320 compact, not even an xcompact, is €989, which is $1052. It's a $500 gun here
@@pghj100 you do realize that's offset by the import of the pistols? Ask literally every manufacturer why they move state side.
I have been waiting for a cp with the new ergos! Can't wait
I have been waiting for them to release the optics version of the Zero 2s for over a year now, it's been delayed more than any gun I've ever seen. I hope they actually release it sometime soon.
The Rex Alpha was my first USPSA production division competition pistol a couple of years back. To this day, it still shoots flawless & accurate. I just wish they will come up with a new version of a Rex Alpha that is single action, optic ready & has a magwell option for Limited Optics division. With a new trigger upgrade & in an experienced hands, I'm sure it can hold on its own racing against with those 2011s out there.
I really simply like the look of these Arex guns
Nice hand gun looks well made
I predict the zero 2 wont sell as good as the zero 1 did. the price increase is ridiculous and there are only minor aesthetic improvements. The grip pattern looks like from a toy gun. I was a die hard fan of them and their products, I have several zero 1‘s, but I think I will definitely look at other brands for a replacement in the future.
The rear and front surfaces on the CP01 are very slippery.
I still can't find a nickel full size anywhere. Can find nickel compacts but not full sized
@@jason200912 If you can determine the product code #, use that for your goog.
@@ericsbraun True, the original grip panels are really slippery too. The G10 panels are awesome
@@jason200912 I‘ve always wanted a nickel version too but never saw one in stores near me
That tactical FDE is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was under the impression that arex made budget guns. I was wrong. I hope they perform like the other guns in that price range. They do look good!
Compact zero 2 is a must have in the future
I'm excited for that tactical version
as am I! i hope they guy was mistaken for the price though. 1700-1800 is a hell of a lot of money
@@zachb7115 For that price you can get a much better pistol, like a CZ TS Orange.
After rediscovering Arex recently I hope they develop a Zero 2 tactical compact. Maybe at IWA 2024?
I'm so hot for a zero 2 compact. Needs an optic cut tho!!!!!!! Been waiting for this announcement for a while now. The zero 1s is one of my favorites, possibly more than the beretta.
I bet by the time they come to market they'll have one. I want one too!
My introduction to Arex was through their Delta pistol. Great pistol that has better ergonomics and overall concealment properties than a G19. But I love an all metal pistol. The Zero 1 C looked like the one that was going to be my EDC. But then, Arex came out with the Zero 2.
I've been waiting for the Zero 2 C for a while. Once it hits the US market might be a little too late. Unless they make it at least a 15+1 round gun with an optic cut, I don't see too many US buyers rushing to buy one when they have the choice on a P365 XMACRO Comp for a similar cost.
A lot of people would like to see a model of these metal framed with a no safety option,
Obviously a decocker only is OK but a single action only with no safety and no decocker,
Basically like most polymer striker pistols like the 365.
Who doesn’t like a hammered fired pistol? But they are priced around what you can get a HK, CZ, or Sig Sauer hammered pistol for. Love the offering, but turned off by the price. Anyways, it’s another excellent video from TFBTV.
I must have that Zero 2 compact! Such a beauty. I canNOT find any info about when it will be available.. in the US.
The $1-2k space is getting really competitive. I see it having a hard time competing with other offerings in that space.
Such as?
Sub
Glock 19 can't be beat
@@Danefrak Except by pretty much any gun from reputable manufacturer.
@@lieutenantcoloneltanyavond8273
Except almost every manufacturer had to make their own version of the G19, but still fell behind in sales. It’s a good effort, but you can’t beat the original.
I'm a fan of AREX but damn... 1700 Euros for a Tactical model of the Zero 2. I understand it has a slide cut for optics, a threaded barrel, comp, and suppressor height sights, but damn... that's steep. Since I'm from the US I don't really know what firearm prices look like over there but it is to my understanding that products like these which have to be shipped over seas are normally more expensive. 1700 Euros at current market value is about 1850 USD. For a pistol that is fucking asinine. The base model Zero 2 S retails for $850 in the states and depending on where you go, can be had for around $700. I'm sorry but the aforementioned mods are not worth the $1000 price hike. I can buy Arex Zero 1 Tactical's all day for $599, hell I bought my Zero 1 S for $499. At $1850 they are even outpricing SIG Legions... The P320 X Carry Legion which has every feature outside of the Hammer and Comp for $999 and the most expensive SIG P226 from which the Zero line shares its DNA is around the $1550 mark. The fucking CZ Shadow 2 is around $1200. I just can't see the justification for that price. If it does reach the states with that price tag It will flop hands down. I love AREX as a company, one of their greatest strengths is the quality per dollar. Prices like these will guarantee that AREX never picks up any tangible market share in the American Firearm's Industry.
I want one ❤️
😃👍
Suggested improvements:
-easy disassembly with only the rear plate for the firing pin, instead of cross pin (access to firing pin should be easy and quick, item subjected to heavy wear and dirt)
-propose a separate SAO only version, cock and locked ready carry (hammer and sear with generous engagement also for wear resistance)
-remove decoker, chamber indicator and firing pin safety, detrimental complications
-implement the better manual safety design of the Alfa/sport 👍 on the tactical (4 inches is super versatile).
-keep optic compatibile
-all bead blasted stainless will be perfect for LE/civilians/IPSC, bead blasting is sufficient for low glare (all finishes are annoying).
-keep the new design, less curved trigger (nice improvement 👍)
...overall a great pistol with high potential for evolutions, premium quality.
Big congratulations for having the guts to fight the garbage plastic mass market.
😃👏
🇮🇹
Dime pieces right here
I’ve been looking for the Arex Zero 2S optic ready model to release, but since no one knows when it’ll be available in the US, I ordered the regular model yesterday. I’ll probably just have the slide milled and add it that way.
You ever get the slide milled? If so by who?
I thought of turtle design for the grip. I like it, it's a bit ironic, if that is where they got their inspiration.
Makarov reliability of the new ERA, great gun if they keep up their manufacturing tolerances and QC same as since they released.
Never heard of them. Look nice.
youve been under a rock then
@@jordanns010 Guess so. Could be because my state won’t allow us to have any handgun made within the last 20 years.
A great interesting neat video and pistols. Just like a steaming steak and beans.Aesthetically these pistols are much better IMHO than the Springfield Hellcat and XD series except I would like to see some Arex pistols in the.45ACP or .46.I also like there are many hammer fired models. How come the Arex does not make a PCC?
I've been waiting to see the Zero 2 Compact - completely disappointed that it looks like it's the only one that isn't optic ready in non-threaded.
Used to have an Alpha. It may be time for a new one.
Wish they would make an optic ready Alpha.
The Sig 226 2.0
Is there an optic cut on the Zero 2 Compact?
it seems strange that all of their previous offerings are fairly budget friendly, but these two new models with only minor changes warrant a 100% price increase, or more. I mean I want one, but not for nearly 2gs....
i Like your watch what brand is it?
Lol this was funny
Wish the alpha came optics ready
i have been trying to find a Zero 1 for two years. hope they import a lot more of these. i want one of the compact red dot ready models
They have them on global ordinance right now for 869
they have them on gunbroker in the 700s as well
i lied, that was a zero tactical. the regular ones on gunbroker are as low as 499!
Just saw they have the standard and compact Zero 1 on family firearms for 456 no tax 19.99 shipping
I thought they said the rest of the zero 2s were on the way last year?
Now if they could up the production of magazines
I would have bought an original Alpha 1 but hated how far the trigger reach was on DA
I’m poor enough buying American guns, now I have to keep up with the Euro customs😮
Need them to make one if these in polymer thats not striker fired
What companies make OWB holsters for these pistols??
Where can you purchase ? All I see is none optic model on market
Will these fit small hands?
Pretty nice, seems a bit much for myself. Anyone interested in a shield plus performance center ported barrel with the red dot
So where the hell is Arex zero 2 compact??? 😤😤😤
Right?!?!?! I couldn't wait, so I got the standard version. But I did heat that it should be coming out this spring, but idk man
I can't find the Deltas or the Zero 2 anywhere around me.
I would like to see the zero 2 go against a stock SIG P226.
I’ll be needin’ s’more Newtons there brah…
lol at the price damn glad I got my zero 1 used for 300 bucks after i got the compact new for 450
Looks like a P226?
It doesn’t function like a 226 however. The decocker and the slide lock/release are the same lever and unlike a 226 it has a safety which allows you to carry it cocked and locked in SA. It is actually an updated copy of the Zastava P-99 which is about 2 generations away from a 226.
Poor Nate’s you could tell he wanted to get more info out there but can’t yet. The alpha is looking good though.
When you ask your mom for a $1,000 P229 but she says you already have a $1,000 P229 at home.
Been waiting on this but that tactical model is super expensive compared to what’s currently available sheesh.
I know minimizing recoil is very important race aspect. but ‘dat weight tho’ … apart from that looks good, price seems to be exaggerated but I prefer it that way than compromising on quality
Why would the Zero 2 tactical be like $2000? That's over double the price of previous generation... And here I was thinking of buying one. Oh well.
The "regular" Zero2 can be had for under $800, if that helps?
14 Newtons is 3.15 Lbs.
Ahhh, that Arex love and James did not even half to give up most of his liver this time. Looking to get the Zero and the One
Anyone know if that takes Sig p226 mags?
No, closest fit I found is beretta mags but you have to cut a notch for the mag release and you also need to change the follower, the zero's slide release will get caught underneath the mag follower (I know personally 😒) I had a couple 92fs mags from my brother in law so i bought the extended mag kits for the rex to make them work
It's been a whole year and we still don't have the zero 2 tactical available in the US 😢
I just bought a 01 tactical and I can't get any 10-round magazines thanks to my dictatorship run state
@@beardedslavbrew615 use EBR Works from Arizona. They can take in your shipped mags and make them 10 rounders then ship them to you. They are awesome I just did that for my zero 2
what about zero tactical compact?
Can this gun utilize the Sig P226 magazines?
no
Sadly no but I heard that since it is in the rex zero family it can use the mags from the others
2Gs for alpha? I have a lot of options.
So what is the Alpha, a 226 clone?
Canik tercih ederim , hem ucuz hem kaliteli 🇺🇸
I shot some arex at cancon and they shot smooth and felt great in my lil Asian hands 🤣😂
I went to school with a saysmenate.
GIVE ME A ZERO 2 COMPACT OPTIC READY IN AMERICA FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY!!!!!!!
Can we get a tactical model of the Alpha
