@@-M0LE yes they were her voice. It was from a olong time ago and it was taken from voice-mail then mastered and mixed into the song so it's clear. It's her. He also played a part of the voice-mails at a show once or twice too. There's video of him playing them at a show to prove that they're real.
I thought it was mixed from her part in the song Superman. She didn’t end up on the song but she was supposed to be on it and then she said no to doing the song but that’s what Em referenced earlier in the rap about studio session.
I love hearing Obsessed and then playing this right after. There is nothing more gratifying than imagining Mariah thinking she got Em good and then her smile being wiped off her face by such a masterpiece as this 😂

Another hidden gem was in Em's verse on "Forever" by Drake with Lil Wayne and Kanye, he mentions Pinocchio's nose. That was a reference to Gucci Mane when he was on Mariah's Obsessed remix. I'm certain someone already brought this up, but just in case it wasn't. Those voice clips weren't from the voicemails, they were from their studio sessions, which Em mentions in the beginning of the track "I'm mixing our studio session down and sendin' it to masterin' to make it loud"
The thing is, Em has never gave a shit on who he disses or calls out. I don’t know why people sometimes are still shocked by that. That’s what he does.
