I met Nadeem Sir and his brother in 2019 during the peak Covid times. He helped us to look after a baby owl. So much genuiness is beyond movies. He is an angel.
I've been expecting to see this documentary for a very long time. It's not about a documentary film which was shot in India! Its about kindness, dedication and wisdom that has happened in India. This is truly something we humankind has to cherish
So far looks intriguing i hope its not pretentious or high-brow or preachy
@@ReluctantSpirit I've been following this story more than 10 years, how the brothers started to take care of those injured birds with such limited resources in the terrace of their home. From the trailer of the doc, it seems funny and aesthetic to me. I mean to know about what the brothers do, visually, more than to comment about the production of the doc.

It's getting pretty good recognition in india. You can't expect documentaries to be as famous as commercial cinema
The cinematography is of the highest order.
Many of the shots are mesmerising.
This film is so stunning it sets a new standard for documentaries. The cast and crew are magicians. I’m joining the International Bird Rescue immediately.
Even the end credits are captivating in this film. Should be shown to film students in Visual Storytelling 101.

I am really looking forward to watching 'All that Breathes'. My best wishes to Shaunak Sen for the Oscars. Above all, what an incredibly noble gesture from the brothers that is so beautifully documented for the world to see. It is because of such people that the world is indeed beautiful even during trying times.

Watching this documentary right now at the Wipro auditorium with the actor sitting just in front of me. I just want to flex this fact. 😄 The documentary leaves me with so many questions like why kites only but it also leaves me with a sense of pride and ease to know that there are human beings out there, real human beings who truly cares about the lives of all that breathes around the humankind. And the most important message of the movie, to me, is not just about saving kites or birds, it's the motif to create peace amongst human beings keeping aside our religion and just dwell in peace as one species should
This concept of rescuing animals and birds should spread.... this film should be viewed by more and more people.. 🐤🐧🐌🦋🐢🐼
congratulations to HBO for streaming this gem. not everyone wants to understand these true movies. we as society needs to go beyond masala movies.

Beautiful, evocative work by the sound designers for this trailer. The subtle wing flaps, soft water gurgles, the exhale of a plane passing overhead - what a way to honor this incredible story.
Thanks for appreciating and understanding the Sound Design. I am a Sound Engineer myself working for Films and Television. It is very rare to read/see somebody commenting on the Sonic aspects of a Film. But it feels good when someone does. Sound is as powerful as visuals. People don't understand this but many a times it is what you hear that actually gives you the sense of space and perspective to say the least. Audio and Visuals always go hand in hand and compliment each other.

I pray that all that watch this film feel the connection to all creatures great and small. We were all created to have balance with one another. Humans are not greater than any other species. We should understand that we are here to reach out to support life on all levels- balance is what keeps us going. When you ignore the plight of others you ignore your souls desire to be more.
Long ago my Nana taught me this deep love for nature. I feed hundreds of birds and small animals each day. My children understand the importance of keeping them going because it is part of what we are here for. It will open your eyes to see more of why all life needs to work as one. ☮️

So there are people that understand all life is connected, if wildlife and all that breathes survives we survive, simple as that! HBO/MAX has exceptional programs, I always find thought provoking content and great entertainment, I laugh I cry I think, it's worth the price of admission!

Beautiful and filled with kindness,love ,sacrifice and mutual understanding. The background problem is very well approached as well (intolerance against the Muslim community in India).the answer ? Love ❤️,compassion and yes , tolerance and acceptance of all living creatures,just because they have a fundamental right to live in peace and harmony! I'ts a love letter to Mother Nature and to India! Thank you.I feel very honoured to be allowed into this beautiful family for a few minutes! Hope it wins, it's my fav documentary!

Winning oscar 100 percent. Only competitor is all the beauty and bloodshed. Rest 3 cannot compete with these two.
Beauty and Bloodshed will probably win. It's about American medical system and winner of Golden Lion from Venice Film Festival which rarely ever goes to a documentary.

@@sunnnysingh3498 Yeah but these are documentary awards only. Golden Lion is the top award at Venice for which all feature films and documentaries in the festival compete. Only 3 documentaries have ever won the overall prize in the entire history of VFF. Plus there is going to be American bias because it talks about their country's problems.
@@anujpramanik1819 true but i think this biasness should end this year bcz all that breathes is a documentry about air pollution and islamophobia CAA etc etc which America loves seeing that side of India. So i think it should win. Remember slumdog muslim victimisation card of India and it swept all oscars
@@sunnnysingh3498That's a very small part of the movie. Most of it is about animal welfare, interpersonal relations, etc. If a movie was exclusively made on the subjects you mentioned with some first person narrative, it could have won.
