@@LargeShortFilms Having been a full time carer for my mother who had dementia, I would like to stress that more on this topic is required so as to bring wider public awareness of this horrible disease that is now afflicting not only the aged, but also the younger population.
It is especially important to open this topic to discussion in south Asians who are usually in denial of this affliction. This cause unnecessary suffering in families and communities. The message should perhaps be played out in a series of plays detailing - causes, diagnosis and care of dementia, in addition to lifestyle changes that minimise the risk of dementia.
May all be happy.

A son taking care of his father. That's us. That's who we are. We don't leave them behind. Thank you for this.
Also daughter can take care
why u say *we* isn't it universal?
Hire a caregiver. Your wife is not your parent's personal maid. Not talking about you, but the majority of asian culture imposes daughter in law to take care of the husband's parents.
Us & who we are doesnât mean anything at all, caring for once parents is universal, different people do it in different ways
What about a daughter?

@@vipulgupta6949 It was all about acceptance. When two people are together, they shall be open about both good and bad of each other. Hiding something from the other just to make sure the relationship goes fine will not really help. Similarly, expressing likes and dislikes is fine but that shall not impact the kind of person someone is. Deepti didn't wear the nose ring because Dhruv didn't like it on her and he felt she looked like an idiot. When she wears it at the end of the story, that signifies her realization of this.

If you are reckless then only lunatics will love you the way you are.
A wise person's love is not there for the wishful thinking of an individual.
One is ok with inevitable flaws but those that can be improved or removed must not be kept with the expectation that others are obliged to adopt to your perversions.
"Practical life has boundaries which are nearly impossible to describe in words. It is a phenomenon like you can text the name of a scent to someone but you can't text the sent itself through words. Description itself has limits." (Javaid Ghamidi)

Such an amazing short story and the journey of Deepti who intended to work for someone at the end exits with her work done . And how a misunderstanding gave this whole plot a twist is mind-blowing.
Her love for him is so great that even in Alzheimer's he didn't forget her or any of her little saying or doing.. Like kanda poha in orange tiffin Or what she says to her...
The relationship between an Alzheimer's patient & his client with a soothing lesson reminds "Scent of a Woman" of Al Pacino â€Nasir sir â€
This made me tear up, what a heartwarming filmâ€

"Rule No. 1: Tum jaisee bhi hoo, kaafi hoo" is not the gist of this great short but life as well. One must accepts God's gift of life as gifted by Him. Both Naseeruddin saab and Rasika mohtarmah have given a tremendous performance. Title is a bit confusing, because more appropriate title would have been: "RULE NO. 1." Well it's not really confusing and I understand that the table was just for a very short period of time but it has a great impact. And although the whole story might not really revolve around it but the message of the story does. The table was painted by his wife to beautify it. The wife could have easily be disgusted at the very sight of the broken table but she didn't. The broken table depicts we as humans who have so many broken parts in our personality. We ain't perfect but can be beautiful if we accept who we are. The painting that she made was not to hide that the table was broken but to show that flaws are what that makes us human and we are beautiful. â€
