I feel like war thunder doesn’t depict how large a plane explosion is. The smoke disappeared with in seconds in this game when the blast would make a large arise of smoke from the explosion.

This just proves that Il-2 is a better game than war thunder, because if you scratch the ground wrong in war thunder you immediately explode

I like the fact that my gaming laptop (predator helios 300) can run msfs 2020 on atleast 50 or so fps but it could run il2 on 15 fps
I agree it really got more realistic, but many are still very fake, some of these were supposed to have ended up in a pile of twisted aluminum
I agree. It is way better than War Thunder, but not like Rise of Flight where the planes end up in a pile.

The planes need to just explode into a ball of flame on impact sometimes. Bouncing around the ground looks cool, but definitely not realistic under many circumstances.

Mid air collisions did happen during WW2 and SOME of the crash physics are depicted well. So I would call it semi realistic.
