Honestly, tiktok has pros and cons. Ban will help to prevent cultural distortion in large-scale than affecting business (presumably). The latter effect can be amended whereas the cultural damage remains with this generation and generations to come. Money should not come from costing our moral principles.

One question to every titok users. Have you ever read the privacy policy of titok if you have not then please read it first. If you can understand it then you will know whay is it necessary to ban it.
I have that's why I stoped using it. There are lots of thing which are horrible included in tiktok policy. If you read and try to understand it then then you will find one thing for sure that it is not safe to use.

@@Hithere-qj1wj I don't think I should be the one to explain about it. there are lots of videos and resources which are freely available in internet even if you search in CZcams you will find lots of videos about it. I know privacy policy are also important thing for social media companies to know about the likes and dislikes of users and also for many more thing but the most unsatisfying detail which is included in tiktok's privacy policy is that it can collects lots of information from users even "DEVICE ID" then my question is why dose it say that it can share this information to third parties. If it can not protect our privacy then why should we use such apps. That's why it is banned in others countries due to the security reasons not only because they share same borders with each other. If it can change this part and some other thing from policy then it will be safe for all of us. And another thing, we all know that this is Chinese app and I am not saying that I don't like china because it helps us in many ways but why china keeps lots of things secret with other nations. I am not saying it should be done for current situation but we don't know what will happen in future. so in my view this is the big red flag for a country located in between two strong countries and whose citizen's data are being continuously taken by other nation. I am so sad that lots of people are talking about tiktok ban because now they can not make those "faltu" videos and can't be viral for coppied contents in short period of time (except few actual creaters, I hope there are some ) but no one is concerned about these serious topics. Are all Nepalese so dumb that they don't even know what is important at this time. And why our government is not concerned about data safety of citizens. Government should have control over all social media and their activities. Any company that isn't registered in Government of Nepal and doesn't pay tax to it shouldn't be allowed to be used. I never used tiktok and I can see how society accelerated towards losing culture via tiktok.
Ofcourse there are hundreds of positive content creators but, we should also be conscious about thousands of negative content creators. We should also recognize that our country is not well developed in IT sector to monitor each and every shorts in tiktok. So this might be unfair decision but this is correct decision to ban tiktok.
