Wow, this is a total flashback. I remember when this originally aired. I used to love this show. I was so bummed that it didn’t come back after the second season. I love and still love Demetria and so sad about Daisy, but Demetria won’t even talk about this show, she said this was a dark period of her life. Oh, and Demetria is divorced from her husband. They got divorced a few years ago. She has a podcast and she continues to write and she’s living in Ghana.
I wish they did a where are they now. This was such a good show❤ Chris thanks for reviewing this!
Mel is on the Joe burden podcast. She had a near death experience since the show and when healed moved to the east coast to do the podcast

OMG I loved this show! I even purchased it on CZcams & still watch till today. This show came out right after I moved to NYC too. Nostalgia.
That brunch was hilarious to me lol It started with Daisy hosting it. Asking people questions with the microphone, basically cosplaying Oprah to all of a sudden Daisy no longer has a mic and they arguing about leaders and cheaters 😂😂 like what? Lol then it just fizzles out…
I enjoyed this way too much!!! This show was Classic!!!
So I just got to episode 2 and I was shocked when she said she was in her 20s…somebody lying 🫠🤥

I loved this show and like many others was disappointed when it ended after season 2. I watched the full season 1 and started 2 today. Even back then I liked Demetria more online than I did on the show. I follow her on ig and love her "Dear Mum" travel posts. I'd definitely love a "Where are they now?" Special or for them to re- boot the show like they did Miami.

I was on Demetria’s side when I first watched this and upon further review, I’m still on her side. Imagine being around a group of educated successful working women and have them say that they don’t think women can lead. That’s wild.

Omg I was 26 when this show originally aired. Watching it again a decade later @ 36 I have a lot more understanding of them. However, my feelings of Demetria is still kinda the same. She wasn’t very likable on here 😭 Thanks for reviewing Chris!

Thank you for reviewing the show.I love this show and I thought it was a great show for black women to see...... however I did not like Demetrius at all! She definitely was a stuck-up know-it-all.....
I will say looking back at episode one, what the women were saying was absurd, so I had more empathy for Demetria than when I watched back then.
