This swordfish battle was crazy. I'm pretty sure I have some sort of PTSD or fishing trauma from that emotional rollercoaster of a swordfishing fight. Florida is an amazing place for swordfishing and I try to show a bit on how to catch swordfish and the techniques we used on how to swordfish from dropping the weight to fighting the fish.
Enjoy this beast of a swordfishing catch and cook! There is enough swordfish meat from this catch clean and cook to last us for a long time.

Heiko, what a beautiful fish. One of my best memories was as a 5 year old eating a BBQ Sword fish. The whole thing BBQ'd and laying on the dining room table. The whole family was eating and celebrating. It wasn't as big as yours Heiko but when you're 5 it was bigger than me.

@@SouthFloridaFishingChannel dude buy the hankai 18hp motor for and and do a review .... hardley anyone has made a desent one for it . If you do it just make sure there is gear oil in there , break it in and change it. Ive got a small 3.5 and have had ot for years no issue.... well just had to upgrade the fuel lines adyer the first year. Wish ya the best and tight lines !
