  • Reacting to @dramirkaram 's opinion on non-invasive cosmetic procedures. I believe there are many non-surgical procedures that can make you look younger. I recommend proceeding in a conservative manner and always seek a competent professional for any cosmetic treatment. I respectfully disagree with Dr. Karam's opinion.

    Thank you for your honesty and expertise. Radiofrequency destroyed the remaining little fat left in my neck - a very bad idea on a 56 year old neck. Plain microneedling without RF does miracles for texture in my opinion.

      @@drkopelmanHi Dr. K… strange question, but could some of the deeper treatments that potentially lead to facial fat loss be used for other “body contouring” like calves? I’ve always had very thick ankles and calves and if Ultherapy or Morpheus could potentially work for that area, I’d love to hear why or why not! Thank you so much for all your insight!

      I totally AGREE. This is what Dr Karam has been advising. If you are looking to lift the face @ minimum, you need a thread lift..otherwise surgery is the answer. It definitely is what will give the longest result. The fact is most of us don't have the money &/or the desire to bleed 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ or worse😢(but we're spending the money incrementally🤷🏽‍♀️😤)

    Fafelifts actually can make you look better imo and looking younger isn't necessarily the ultimate goal. I know many very nice looking older women who although they dont have libes wrinkles or jowels still look theie age, but they look amazing for their age.

  • @ariatamar2706
    @ariatamar2706 Před 7 měsíci +7

    Non-invasive procedures are overused by people and that's why they look older:( in a sense Karam is right, because we never stop aging, but fillers and botox should be used *no more than* a few times in life!!! That is the truth.

    Amir Karam is very clickbaity. He also discredits anything that isn't what he makes money from = facelifts and his skin care line. Your comment about the device being used carefully by a skilled practitioner is spot on. But the fact is, plastic surgeons want to briefly train their employees to do these procedures. I had three sessions of the Juliet laser and not once did the doctor who recommended it actually do the procedure. He handed it off to his employees, and in one case it was only a medical assistant who had been trained in the office. It seems like they buy these expensive devices and feel this is the only way to recoup the money. The surgeons want to do the surgery.
