As apart of the team, I’m glad you love our products. We have grown so much in the past 2 years. The reels coming out this coming year will be amazing. Better then the series 1.
Can’t wait, before next summer my boat will only have Kistler rods on it.., lets see if these new reels can replace my current favorite Tournament Pro LFS’s and Curado MGL 150s.
Are these capable of power finesse fish can they throw a 78 pointer, how is the taper like the rebound snappess decently fast i don't want something to flimsy if that makes sense,tx in advance
Around the Houston area we are blessed with some great rod builders. Old 18, Kistler, H and H, Laguna, Sarge, fishstix, and castaway. Hard to go wrong.
I picked up a KISTLER KLX Lite MH and love it to death. Some how, I snapped the tip on it. It was probably my fault. I contacted KISTLER and had a new rod in 3 days. I will definitely be buying more.
Love the gear talk videos even when I'm not in the market for the higher end stuff. It's cool to know which features they have and how you rate their quality incase I ever get in the market. Great video as always Mr DEBO!
Thanks for taking the time to weigh the rod 3.2 oz is very impressive. But I'd like to see the balance point with a reel on the rod. I'm sure high end Kistler rods are all perfectly balanced and light weight. But for the budget rods with budget materials where the balance point is on the rod is critical
Great Video Debo, definitely some great information on this rod. I love kistler and was looking into getting another one to add to the arsenal....Love that grip!!!
I love Kistler rods, I just got a Feel N Reel (7’M) for crankbaits and its the best hybrid crank rod for the price considering the sales. I also just bought a KLX (7’LMH) spinnerbait rod using the black Friday code and had previously bought two Argon (7’LMH) rods during July 4th sale for topwater and weightless flukes. I fish mid-southeast MO and have had no problems with the LMH power on these rods for rocks or grass and light cover. For under $200 when on sale, nothing beats the Feel N Reel series for cranking or chatterbaits and nothing beats a KLX or Chromium in terms of standard graphite in that price range. The Argon series isn’t that much less either, great topwater rods IMO, maybe the perfect topwater series considering price.
Good job Debo, I received my Chromium last night so i had to try it out today. I have owned the dock skipper for a couple months now, great rod for skipping and holding up so far to the large mouths here in Texas. Today the chromium did just as I expected having great sensitivity with a half ounce jig catch. This is a great price to be in the same class with my other high end rods. I will be purchasing more of these great rods.
If you get a Kistler with the Black Friday sale you wont regret it. I love the Feel N Reel for mid-shallow cranks or even chatterbait, the KLX is just amazing all around and the Chromium in this video is the KLX plus a tiny shot of steroids. Deebo has a video back in early July or late June on the KLX and graphite series, check those out and you wont regret grabbing a Kistler when they run these amazing deals
Sorry I haven't been commenting Deebs, I been in Florida bass fishing 🎣 and man what an experience!! I caught the most on a custom 1.0 one knocker the color was moongill and the fish killed it, shout out to Fulks custom cranks!!!
I would love to get one of those rods, but I just blew all my last paycheck on fishing stuff (and new tires for the 4runner) so I will have to get one of them next year, putting it at the top of my wish list for then.
Thanks for your review. I bought a cranking rod you recommended last year Black Friday and love it. I ended up buying 2 kistlers with this sale. Happy Thanksgiving Debo.
Great review!! Purchased a Graphite Series 6'9" LMH this past year and love it!! I agree wait for the sales I did got this one for under $100.Stay Safe & God Bless!!
Love the gear review viDEBOS, looking forward to them during the winter off season! I know you touched on the SLX MG 70 quite a bit in your reel video a few weeks back, but if you'd like to do a full review on the reel this winter, that'd be great!
Great review, it looks like an awesome product and seems perfect for top water and jerk baits with the short handle. I also like the soft front reel locking nut with no exposed threads. I need one of those rods!!! . Thanks DEBO 👍🎣
Thanks for thoroughly going over the rod and techniques you used it for, like that style hook keeper not sure about the size of the guides though! Hopefully your family getting ready for a wonderful thanksgiving! What’s your favorite pie for the holiday? What’s that crazy number after my user names now? Mmm baits lost!
I always feel like I say the same thing haha awesome video great stuff it’s why I have always been a fan and been around for a long time. Would like to see you check out a Falcon Lowrider rod and a good jerkbait video like some of your favorites!
That sounds like a top notch rod there, I like the placement of the hook keeper, and I like full length triggers. I often ask myself how can I justify getting a new rod or reel when I actually don't need either? I think I might have the perfect system, for each new rod or reel I get, I also buy my Wife a new pair of shoes!!!
Do you own any Tatula rods? Not the XT or the Elite, just the regular cork Tatula. Those guides were super, super small and my leader knots were never a problem. At least up to 40lb braid to 20lb leader. I'm curious how they compare in size to those on the Tatula. Oh and Debo, your referral link is broken to Kistler.
Debo, have you noticed the Chromium now has full cork handles instead of that carbon material? You have any idea why? How have the handles on your Chromium held up? Thanks!
Wouldn't buy a Kistler rod, I spent the money for one and it snapped in half on a 8 lb snake head, only a one year warranty, would not return my phone calls

Great review Debo. One of the best on YT at doing gear reviews.
Love the rod and reel reviews.

Awesome video my wife hates when I watch the videos. I end up buying a few rods that you suggested ways. Thanks for the pick up on the TFO rods.

Glad you're enjoying the Chromium! Thanks for the kind words
Love your reviews, keep them coming.

Also, I honestly prefer EVA foam. Todays EVA foam is really durable and it’s far lighter than rubber and cork grips but cork grips are OG cool.
Great Video Debo, definitely some great information on this rod. I love kistler and was looking into getting another one to add to the arsenal....Love that grip!!!
I usually use a leader, so know about the guide size is a huge help here.

Good review Debo
A rod I think you would rlly like is the phenix feather series I have the 6’10 med lite and use for Jerkbaits and is perfect
Absolutely yes. I bought that exact model at the classic last year and it became my favourite and looking for more

Here we go Debo making me wanna buy something!!

Little out of my price range but it’s a good looking stick. Thanks for the shout out ! Keep those videos coming !
Hey Debo, pretty sweet rod & that curado on there just sends it over the top for me man! 👊
Sorry I haven't been commenting Deebs, I been in Florida bass fishing 🎣 and man what an experience!! I caught the most on a custom 1.0 one knocker the color was moongill and the fish killed it, shout out to Fulks custom cranks!!!

Kistler makes the best rod I've ever fished with.
Thanks for your review. I bought a cranking rod you recommended last year Black Friday and love it. I ended up buying 2 kistlers with this sale. Happy Thanksgiving Debo.
If you don't put out any videos before then have a Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and Randy.
Great review!! Purchased a Graphite Series 6'9" LMH this past year and love it!! I agree wait for the sales I did got this one for under $100.Stay Safe & God Bless!!
Those are pretty nice feeling rods. Met a guy on my way out from the lake this summer and he showed me his KLX heavy, WOW it was light!
Love the gear review viDEBOS, looking forward to them during the winter off season! I know you touched on the SLX MG 70 quite a bit in your reel video a few weeks back, but if you'd like to do a full review on the reel this winter, that'd be great!
Great looking rod Debo. Thanks for the review man! ✌🏻😎🎣
I love my Kistler rod. I’ll have to look at this sale and see if there is one for larger swim baits 🤔
Expensive, but most times, you get what you pay for! That seems to be good quality! Have a blessed Thanksgiving Debo and Dizzle!! God bless you!
Debo, you scared me when you said 350, but, I know you always get deals on your purchases. Thanks.
Great review, it looks like an awesome product and seems perfect for top water and jerk baits with the short handle. I also like the soft front reel locking nut with no exposed threads. I need one of those rods!!! . Thanks DEBO 👍🎣
Debo for the feeeshin win
Thanks, Debo.
Awesome review. I have wanted one so that made up my mind. Thanks.
I HATE rods with exposed threads above the reel. Glad to see they got it right with this rod!
Always enjoy your input I’m nowhere near dropping money like that even on sale but who knows maybe one day I’ll wake up rich 🤣🤣 🎣🎣🔥🔥
I always feel like I say the same thing haha awesome video great stuff it’s why I have always been a fan and been around for a long time. Would like to see you check out a Falcon Lowrider rod and a good jerkbait video like some of your favorites!
Kistler makes some fine rods
nice setup you have
I'd like to visit their store and take a tour, it's only a few hours drive for me, last time they had an open house/ tour the prices were really good.
I finally got the klx series in a 7’ heavy
You should definitely look at pride fishing rods. Literally best feeling rod ive helt but they start at the chromium price point
Love a short, split grip. Wish everything was made with fuji sk2
I’ve been wanting to buy a Kistler rod but I won’t spend over $200 on a rod or reel(at least for now lol) but with the sale I might have to buy one
Rod looks great! I also like the plain black with white or silver. Good looking rod, but it def should be at that price. 👍
That grip is the same grip material they use in car for steering wheels. It’s a type of laminated rubber.
Ole Debo the line finger-er always finding things for me to spend my money on. 🤣
I'm torn between this and the okuma psycho stick. Any tips on which way to go?
Do you own any Tatula rods? Not the XT or the Elite, just the regular cork Tatula. Those guides were super, super small and my leader knots were never a problem. At least up to 40lb braid to 20lb leader. I'm curious how they compare in size to those on the Tatula.
Oh and Debo, your referral link is broken to Kistler.
Debo talking about a #300 rod?
How bout that lews KVD reel on sale at cabelas for $114!
Where did you get the hat ?
Debo, have you noticed the Chromium now has full cork handles instead of that carbon material? You have any idea why? How have the handles on your Chromium held up? Thanks!
Swear im oldschool was just thinking i wish it was cork ironically lol
@@eddiegeorge1878 Kistler stopped using the Loomis NFC blanks a few years ago. Why don't you like those blanks? They were great.
Kistler rods are awesome!
Have you ever thought about building your own rods?
Kistlers are nice but they’re not retrobassin😂
Wouldn't buy a Kistler rod, I spent the money for one and it snapped in half on a 8 lb snake head, only a one year warranty, would not return my phone calls
Do MoRe SpInNiNg CoMbO rEvIEwS. 🤔 Bait casters make no sense.
Baitcasters make perfect sense
in my opinion
as someone that was fortunate enough to learn how to use them by age 7 or 8
Once you learn em you’ll rarely go back. I had the same thought 6 months ago
You fish with what your comfortable with. Don't let anyone tell you different. Each has a place and function. But it is up to you. Tight lines!
I finally got the klx series in a 7’ heavy
