Heh, as soon as they mentioned cake, I bet I knew what that was. My partner's Austrian so I wanted to learn more about the food. Got as far as Sachertorte and knew it was something I had to try. We went to the hotel and had a slice with cream and coffees and it's sooo good!

I'm kinda realizing that if Tank does end up TMing for the band full-time, he might end up almost as famous as the band themselves, especially if he keeps vlogging it. There's already people yelling whenever they see him on stage, and this is basically the first tour.

I have no clue what the band was saying when they brought you out on stage, but I felt the emotion and my eyes started to leak. Just shows how good of a person you are and they appreciate the work you do for them. Makes me appreciate the band even more. Keep up the good work Tank. I look forward to these when you put them out.
David's first job was working around the blast furnace of the steel mill. Then HR found out how handsome and personable he is and moved him to recruitment.

There was so much here to be grateful for, as someone who was at the show - it was one of the best nights of my life, and now it's like I have an additional bank of memories to draw from. The way all the crew treat each other, the gratitude and emotions of Nico throughout the show, seeing what I saw from the opposite angle (I was barrier deep stage left). But best of all was a moment I feel like I almost hallucinated, when David came by and high fived everyone including me. Now it is on camera. I'm so glad Nico and Kevin got you up in front of everyone, even if it was probably a bit mortifying in the moment, because I was so happy to cheer for you.
Thank you, Tank, for helping preserve my memory of this night forever.
on a less emotional note, i love watching MC Thunder jumping section from stage so fucking much, it looks amazing when the crowd can figure out right and left and count to 8 lmao

When Nico and Kevin mentioned during the concert that this show had been their biggest headliner show ever, I couldn't believe that after I saw the crowd from your Stuttgart VLOG. But damn, the Stadthalle looks so much more packed through your camera and from the stage than from the audience perspective 😅
Also seeing it completely empty for once is kinda weird and mesmerizing at the same time.

Love it! This venue is literally one subway stop away from me. Despite our reputation we people from Vienna are very nice and helpful, so I will teach you the most important viennese word: Oida (pronounced oy-duh). Which means something like „dude!“, but in all ways you can use „dude“. From anger to surprise to disbelief 😂

"Meine Frau" - I grinned like a child.
This series is so incredible. Metalheads are generally a lot more engaged with the music, bands, instruments, labels - the industry as a whole. It's like this all-encompassing interest/passion for everything that goes into making it all possible. It's fascinating to see the other side of touring, and watch everyone work like a well-oiled machine to put on the show, which is just about the only part of music we basically never get to experience. I guess it's this general assumption that "it would be boring because it's work stuff", so no one really bothered making this kind of backstage content. However, I'm pretty sure that metalheads are the one group crazy enough to watch a roadie just make backstage signs for 2 hours straight, if that ever got made into a video. Long story short: NA tour vlogs, pretty please? I'd love to see Powerwolf too, if you ever toured together again, and if they let you do that.

I've learned so much and the insights BTS that this video series has given me are nothing short of amazing. In my 36 years on this planet, I always thought of the Rock Star life as way more glamorous and that the bands whenever they leave stage go to a nice lounge area in the back with cigars and whisky. Lol. Never really gave it a second thought and little did I know that backstage actually means backstage! Thank you Tank! I wish I could've been there but you bet I'll get tickets for 2025.

It's just amazing how all of you come together into one big happy family. When they called you back on stage was magical, and I'm just watching the video I can only imagine how it made you feel. The band, crew, and you are filled with so much happiness and positivity. I've seen other artists who are just there for the paycheck, and others who are there for the love of performing and the interactions with the fans/crowds. This is truly one of those bands that appreciates the fans and loves performing for them. Keep up the wonderful blogs.

I think it would be really interesting if you could talk about the catering at all these venues. What are some of the evergreens that can be found and every venue kitchen? Which venue had something really interesting or unusual food item to offer? Which one was maybe too much for your stomach?

Now, on another note, can I share a few things with ya? Look, I'm a copywriter and a script-writer. I used to write for the biggest comedy TV show here but now there's no more comedy TV shows on our TV, and I work in advertising, and I'm getting bored by it. Your comment about being stuck in an office really struck a nerve with me. I've had this metal webzine for about 13 years now, in a country where almost no one cares about metal and barely has a metal scene. Do you think someone with the "creative writing" skills have a role in a profession like yours, or as any part of a tour, a label, etc.? This looks like what I want to do but with a sh*tty salary like mine I can't even afford one month without a paycheck so it's kinda hard to just follow a dream.
Thank you for the content! Again, I know we're probably very different people with very different mindsets but I have never explored such possibilities and there's no one I could really ask around here.
From your skills you described, I bet you could land a solid job doing PR at a label or for a firm that represents musicians.

I only have gig experiences in Finland but getting to venue early is a must if you want to be at the front with your drink. I am in Wheelchair so being at the barricade is a must at club shows
