Seeing as you asked, Matt.
Start to finish crew!
Keep up the good work Matt! Really enjoy seeing all the different venues, every gig has something different or interesting!
S2F Crew represent. In regards to your comment that these videos may get too repetitive/boring - I can only speak for myself in saying that even though, yes, it is essentially a routine played put over and over, I still get gassed when a new POV video is posted. I find the videos incredibly relaxing. That isn't to say I don't also enjoy when you do and try other things, please do, it's just to say there's something great about these Drum Tech POV videos that will always be enjoyable.
Hey Matt! Just became the official drum tech for my school. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thats awesome! Congrats!
cool
Good for you congratulations
You at The School Of Rock?
@@pizzaearthpancakesandother2549 nah it’s just a regular school with a really good music program 😂
JT is the coolest guy! Enjoyed it as usual. You won me a five dollar bet by getting the pastry. 😂😂😂
That'll get you two Diet Cokes!
@@matthorndrums If we ever meet I will buy you one!!!
Start to Finish Crew!
S2FC, don’t worry about repetitive stuff, most of us will still be glued to it like it’s the first time watching
As a musician and a sound engineer myself, it’s the little routines that make these videos enjoyable. I’m OCD at shows, and it’s refreshing to see when things run smooth.
Start to finish crew, because we never know what we can learn either in the audio or the CC. Thanks for all the videos. As a tribute band drummer who sets my drums myself those have been very helpful.
The king of drum techs blessed us again, I saw the notification an was like NICE an my was boss was like what? I was like you wouldn’t get it.
Your videos are still entertaining regardless of you doing the same tasks every video. As a drummer in a minor band and playing theaters not arenas, this content is still fascinating. Keep it up! Start to finish crew!
Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 Awesome videos, I really enjoy watching your stuff a lot! Keep on rocking!
JT is THE coolest!!
Start to finish crew right here brother! 👊👊
Watching your vids is pretty asmr shite. Its completely relaxing! Just like watching a campfire!
Take awesome care my guy!
Start to Finish crew WAZZZZZZZZZZUUPP!! Keep killing it Matt, you're a badass drummer..
I watch your videos on my lunch break. Thankyou for the entertainment 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

oh shit, today has turned into a good day, we got a drum tech vlog!
OhShit,TOdayhsTurnedintoagood
GotaDrumteChVlog!
You're a great drummer and drum tech. Thanks for an inside look at that career. I myself am a drummer in a texas country band and work full time at a brewery, but drumming is my passion
Start to finish every time, so chill 🥰
Start to finish CREW!!!! Matt, another great video. I've watched them all. I think the best thing about this is that you are shedding a lot of light on the true heroes of these big shows...the crew. I've been into the production aspect of these things for a long time and people need to see what it takes to make these shows work. I've done lights and F.O.H. for a bunch of small club shows and the intensity can be mind boggling. I can only imagine what it would be like at this level. Thank you for the content and making these shows great for the fans!!!
The rest of the crew probably goes and finds a breakfast spot to hang out at. Even if it might seem repetitive it's good content to throw up and have in the background while doing other things. Also interesting to see the different types of catering offerings provided at venues. Start to finish crew lets go
for a very long time, I've neglect to properly tune my toms and snare because I felt that they never sounded good with whatever I was doing, but after watching all of your POV I try to tune my drums the same way you do and in not a lot of time, everything was sounding amazing. The drummers of the other bands playing that night came to tell me that my kit sounded awesome and it felt good. Thank you for your videos
I wish the drum tech for disturbed did vlogs like yours! Mike's kit looks sick!

Start to finish everytime ❤
Been watching your videos for a bit now and this was the first time I was able to sit down and watch it start to finish. Watching these has helped teach me so much about drumming and being a drum tech.
Start 2 Finish crew! Another good one, i'd say don't worry about being repetitive, there's always something new and different and unique in each video.
I have never not watched a video from start to finish. I always am start to finish crew! Always🤘🤘🤘
Start to finish crew here in Denmark. I love watching these videos. They bring me back to my younger touring days. 🙂🇩🇰
same for me back in the 80s
I think every drummer/drum tech have their own superstitions about what to do before and after a show and it's always fun seeing them do it. I had the same thing when I was a drum tech. One time we didn't do it and things went wrong so we never forgot again. It's a right of passage!
Start to finish crew unite!
Hey Matt! I for one never get tired of the repetition. It's always entertaining to see behind the scenes. Thanks for all your hard work!
I am so pleased that you used the Lexington, KY for this recording. I live an hour from there and it is a nice town. A start to finish viewer for me again with this video.
Having watched a few of these, the actual drum teching - tuning and line check etc - is a fraction of the job.
There's a whole lotta packing and unpacking that I thought would be done by roadies, leaving Matt to do his technical stuff.
It's a sobering insight into life on tour for a tech - a mixture of boredom, hard graft, repetition and moments of excitement and fun.
Hi Matt, always start to finish, enjoy watching the vids learning tons. Thnx

Can you please do an "interview" with your LD. I would be super interested in Disturbeds Lighting Rig and the Programming style from Dan!

Start to finis crew assemble🫡
Head over heels is a classic tune, love the videos Matt and I'm part of the start to finish crew!!!
I enjoy your videos. You mentioned the concern about the repetitiveness of the content but I like it. It is comforting. Keep up the good work. I always look forward to each video.
I agree
Start to finish crew! Rock on matt!
Man, everytime the riser gets lifted by a forklift, i have to skip. I was teching for my granfathers band a Sturgis and the forklift driver dumped the kit. Beautiful 1980 white oyster shell Ludwigs he bought new and they were just deatoyed. Love the content, keep it up.
S2F crew!!! def not getting boring! these are very relaxing to watch and have helped me with loads of prep tips and things i can do to make a show run smooth! Thanks MATT!!
Start to finish crew from the first video mang🤘🏾 love the content!! Damn man, I'd love that job 👊🏾✨
Even though the videos seem repetitive, I still find enjoyment out of your content because its nice to know what goes on behind the scenes of all the shows us fans attend
start to Finish crew here! i gotta say, that snare sounds good. the soundcheck is all good too 100%!
Not repetitive at all. I love this. As someone who had to give up on their dreams of music, these vids allow me to live vicariously thru yall. The tech stuff is fun and interesting, but it's the storytelling and the GO FOR SHOW that keeps me coming back.
Thanks man. It's nice to hear things like this. glad you enjoy them!
don't even worry! i enjoy watching every video even though every vid seems somewhat the same haha! I find your techniques with how you manage the kit and i have learned a lot even though i have been playing drums for years!!! keep up the great work sir Matt
Start to finish crew, amazing video, always a high quality during the POV’s!
Greetings from Portugal,
🇵🇹

Start to finish crew!!! Keep the videos coming!
The amount of respect you have with the drummer is amazing!
I always find these videos super interesting, there's a lot that goes into these shows. Super cool stuff!
Hell ya, I made it to the end...always like the go for show, then the lights come down and crowd goes wild!
Start to Finish crew….love this videos always man. As a drummer, and teching before as well….any drummer should/would be stoked to have you as their dude. 🙌🏻
Good Lord Matt where you're from 60° is probably cold lol😅 I love these videos it's so cool and I don't play any instruments at all but I always love to know the technical side of things like this and listen to people talk about triggers and floor pedals in things like that.
Hi Matt, I was tuning my floor tom at Church the same way you did

You already know start to finish here bro another good one
S2FC here!! ❤❤ all the way from Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷 really love your vids man! Dont think the content might be too similar, its perfect the way it is. Keep rocking!!!
I'm used to doing tech for studios, so seeing the other side with tech for Tour is interesting. I have the luxury of consistent venue and comfort of home, Matt gets to see new venues and experiment/adjust on the fly. Different experiences, but ultimately the same end goal.
Start to finish! Keep up the good work!
Start to finish crew always. These videos are awesome. Thanks for taking us along.

You're a man with good taste in music. Love "Head Over Heels" by TFF. Songs from The Big Chair was the first album I ever bought with my pocket money when I was 6 years old. Great album. Thank you for the videos as you really make them interesting. Please keep them coming. Cheers.

Nothing hits harder then laying in your bed and watching a new Drum Tech video after a busy day
