The words that Nico spoke, it felt so sincere and literally coming from the heart, i watched like 3 times just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.
At the end of the day its your decision and you must choose what's best for you and your family, but man if you decide to move to Germany, that'll be awesome!

I'm sure they're all really awesome guys, Kevin especially seems like the guy that's everybody's friend. But from Tank's perespective we see a lot of Nico, and he seems like the kindest, most genuine guy around. I don't even know him but am sure I'd love to be his friend. Such a fantastic, charismatic bloke.
The whole sequence of Daniel losing his in-ear pack, you noticing immediately, and Jan connecting it again was so smooth. Great teamwork! ❤

@@DividedQueen makes sense. It's a bit of a thing in the industry of putting on shows that the people watching don't notice when things go wrong, so a lot of people who perform regularly don't really think about it, but yeah, it is kinda wild to think about

What I find remarkable is how EC is absolutely cool with your vlog. I know other artists who want NOTHING - ZERO - posted of them other than when they are performing. Band and crew are verboten from posting any behind the scenes photos/videos publicly. This is a very special thing that you've got here with that band.
I mean they have nothing to hide. They are always (on stage and backstage) the same friendly, down-to-earth guys and that's very wholesome to watch. We need more bands like them, so working in the bizz is fun for everyone involved.
I actually agree with you. Knowing these guys how I do now, it makes sense because they're just fun and don't really do anything inappropriate or have anything to hide. But man, not a lot of artists would be cool with this. There are some other roadies that do vlogs as well, but you never see the artists are backstage stuff really going on, but you can thank the guys for allowing me to do it.

When you had a short beard. July 15, 2020. Your reaction to them then was as enthusiastic then as you are now. It's all really special. All of it. One day, I'll tell you the story of how I elevated an artist's guitar tech to semi-celeb status with a rather large fandom. I didn't do it intentionally. But, in conversations with him over the years, he's told me how very strange it all was at the beginning with the crowd chanting his name and giving him gifts. ...And he doesn't even have a vlog LOL! Best of luck on the tour. It really is a joy to watch.
@@TankTheTechThey really seem like a band that understands and utilizes stuff like this, their own CZcams vlogs with Christian, and social media in general to both market themselves and give a more intimate/personal touch to the band. It's really quite smart and more bands should take advantage of things like that.

Possibly the most German thing to say about your Vlogs incoming: They show the recurring, routine tasks and the tedium involved for the band and crew. But I assume all of it serves the purpose of maintaining the quality and being ready for mishaps like mic packs lost, taking care of a band member that did not feel well - all the things that usually go unnoticed. Thanks for showing us the professionalism of the crew, so that the crowd can enjoy themselves. Every show.

Wild story arc. That exact reaction is how I got to Tank's channel and from Tank's channel to so many other bands. It was when covid hit, we were renovating the house we just bought pretty much on our own, and a child to follow 2 years later, and now because of EC and Tank I was so hyped for this show, my first concert in 5 years. I am just so happy to have been a part of this
Every vlog is getting better and better. Having people chant your name, and then Nico confessing they want you there for the rest of time. I love how just unerringly positive these guys are, and I love how much fun you are obviously having.

"I don't want to miss you, man, ever again. I want you to be on that side of the stage for the rest of my life, man." Wow hit me right in the feels this morning. That's got to be a huge compliment. Electric Callboy has to be some of the nicest dudes out there.
Nico saying "do we deserve this" Hell yes. They found a way to make people very happy and cheerfull. feel good. They found a way to inspire. To set metal in a new light. To unite peope. They get people laughing and have fun. They found a way to have a positive impact on probably millions of people. So yes they deserve it.
And may sound weird, but Tank you aswell. same kind of vibe and same results in your own way. Thats why those people were shouting TANK! because how weird as it may be, you made a positive impact on them because of your approach to things. The content you make.
Btw.. still think you should do the Castrop spandau song on stage with them in the shows.

Okay, so as of now this account is 13 years old and this is the first comment ever - but I just have to.
I've been to that show with my wife, standing in the front row destroying our voices while singing and screaming along, getting drenched in sweat (where half of it wasn't even ours) and partying along hard. We got totally destroyed. And it was so awesome and more than totally worth it! I've been to a shitload of concerts in the last like 30 years and I've seen EC before, but this show here? Man I am lost for words, never had such an experience. The energy, the crowd, the music, the production - nothing less than pure perfection.

I think this was the best tour vlog so far. It's great to see how well everyone gets on and works together. It seems like there's a real camaraderie on this crew and it's so heartwarming. And what Nico was saying during the Hypa Hypa changeover was beautiful. The sincerity in his voice is undeniable. He is a lucky man to get to do what he does, but I can't help feeling that it couldn't have happened to a nicer or more deserving man than him. I hope he gets to continue doing this job for many years to come.

It was my first metal concert and I couldn‘t believe Nico took a bereal from my Phone and it still feels unreal. I‘m 16 now and this definitely wasn‘t my last metal and EC concert.

As a musician myself, this one really got to me. The emotions between you and Nico, the feeling of a full concert hall havin the time of their lives... I've been there and it can't be replaced. Yup, I’d been watching his channel for a while last year and the “lifetime of memories” video made me finally check them out, they had posted WGTM live in Denver so I checked that out & was instantly hooked

I can't get over the supportive community these guys all have on the road. I'm sure there are bad days and rough moments like in any family, but the attention to detail and the energy to give the fans the best show every night, and the blatant love and respect off-stage are wonderful to see. This is what music and performing should be; be the joy to spread the joy!

I mean that would be a pretty huge descision to make for Tank and his family.
I would suggest for Tank (and his family) to look up some videos of Americans that live/moved to Germany on CZcams.
A lot of them are really happy to live here. Yes, getting used to our culture and language might be hard first, but there are so many perks (especially for families) that you dont get in the USA. Public healthcare, free education, a loooooot less (gun) violence and other stuff.
If that - I would call it "proposal" by Nico in the video was honest and not influenced by Jägermeister, I think Tank really needs to have a talk with his family.

Wouldn't be too confused if it actually happened - He is really working on the language, he has a very good job opportunity (not only for EC but with the rep he has built up he already has a foot in the industry in Europe as well), education and overall life for children in Europe is IMO much brighter. Call me polemic but I would not want my children to have active shooter drills in school... I love the US and really want to visit again to do everything I missed out on my first visit but am happy to live in Germany.
After all it's his and his families' decision and it is a decision not to take lightheartedly. But he could be sure to be welcomed with open arms

The amount of love between the band themselves and the crew is something that speaks volumes. These vlogs are amazing in that it shows that with the team working together and passionate about the production, a tour of this scale can be successful regardless of the hiccups. Incredible content man!
I‘ve known Electric Callboy for a long time, loved their music and always thought they are great guys. But seeing this well-oiled machinery being a huge family is really really nice to see.

If I'm on stage, I almost ALWAYS have my in-ears in, which cancel out most noise. So just know that I don't intentionally ignore anyone. Sometimes I just can't hear. Haha

I love how most of this tour feels like a big family trip. Everyone comes across so nice and chilled. Everyone know his part of the whole operation to make everything go smoothly. And although I'm not a big fan of their music I have a lot of respect for EC. For what they achieved and for how they seem to care for the people around them. You can see that they worked their asses off to get where they are now and they have never forgotten where they're coming from. It's great when good things happen to good people.
And Tank going from reacting to EC to being their tour manager is a story all on its own. Once again, it's great when good things happen to good people.

Beside all the wonderful BTS looks, wholesome banter between you and the band, I do love the "multiple angles" shots you had put in these, and there's have been quite a few in this video which is awesome. I do also appreciate I can see you while you work like the bit in 39:40. gives me a more "open" perspective of you on your zone while working, but me looking as an "outsider"

Tank, your whole journey with EC, from discovering their music through reactions, interviewing them, touring with them to becoming this tight of friends with them is honestly so heartwarming, encouraging and inspiring. Obviously, we all rationally know things like this can happen, or more precisely, there is nothing in particular saying they cannot. But to be able to witness it all, it just reminds us of the good stuff in the world. Enormous thanks to you and them both. And Nico's offer, however it might seem as a "heat of the moment thing", to me feels genuine. Of course, it would be logistically complicated, but they seem very much like the type of guys willing to accommodate your every need should you decide to take them up on it. But that's totally your decision and however it works out, nothing can subtract from this great experience you've already had with them. By the way, I'm from Czechia, but I'm coming to the Dresden show with a couple of my friends from Cologne (funny enough, it's a longer journey for them, even though they are German) and we're making a weekend out of it. We're beyond excited to see the show and, hopefully, catch a glimpse of you as well. If not, then at least to see the show once more from your perspective a couple of days later in another one of these vlogs. Keep up the great work and keep having (and bringing) fun. Ja, sicher! ;)
