How wpuld you set timing after a rebuild, i didnt make marks on the stator or anythi g before splitting the cases, does that make it alot harder ?

Just line your marks up and your good To go.

Yes, it is more difficult to start, but it gains power, be careful not to overdo it as it can damage the engine. With the delayed ignition timing it is easier to start and with a smoother behavior and gives more durability to the engine. never go far from what is recommended by the manufacturer.

@@douglasguido6627 It will gain low end power but loose out on peak power. A retarded timing will give less low end power and a mellower engine but more top end power at high rpm.

If I read this right
You piston has to be .02 smaller than your jug if not you will have a 4 corner Seizure.
.04 to .05 you need to go up in size of your piston.
A 53.94
B 53.95
C 53.96
D 53.97
Some pistons are different sizes
