Please consider publishing a translated Bengali version of your works.
Bengal has had its fair share of misfortune with 34 years of communist rule followed by TMCP.
It is disheartening to see the newer generation of Bengali Hindu boys and girls adhering to the leftist ideology with repugnance for Hinduism.
Somehow most of us believe that Hinduism is the core to all problems.
Majority lack the importance of civilisational and the cultural importance as the newer generation.

I have only one adverse view regarding state control over temples (or matter of fact any religious place, institution, event, etc.) - The state must not have any interest in any religious matter. Kushal, I disagree with you on the choice given to temples about state control. If a temple can not survive let it die or get help from some temples or devotees. The state's job is to provide the regulatory framework.

Very interesting article... my daughter was born in US but we relocated to India for 10 years n now back in the US ... she is by definition an atheist but loves to state her case on Hinduism...
In US high School world history they talk about Hinduism and the book just refers to castes... nothing else... so my daughter took it upon herself to explain Hinduism n the fact that in 2023 she lived for 10 years in India but she doesn't even know her own caste... her parents are Hindu n she is an Indian :)... although a us citizen ... but she says I am so very proud to be raised in India.... she is very very proud to be called an Indian

That's Vishnu mandir you are talking about Kushal in Richmond Hill. North America's largest Hanuman ji statue. That is my regular temple. It is pretty good. Fun fact, established by Indo-Caribbeans and not Indians but now Indians are very active in Vinshu Mandir.

22:48 - My thoughts on this statement: it's important to realize, in my opinion, that ideals such as absolute free speech, etc., are mostly pertinent where/when they're widely accepted and practiced (i.e. satya-yug). In an age like right now (kali-yug), these ideals have to be "reformed" into something that protects all individuals. What I mean by that is, when a particular section of society uses something like speech, word, or whatever else, to eventually overwhelm and eliminate another section, it's important for the other side to "put them in place" and retaliate (and I don't necessarily mean violence here). Now, the concept of blasphemy (and laws and actions stemming from it) is sort of like a band-aid solution to control each section of society. It's perhaps temporarily needed in order for the world to function and move forward. I think this type of world is going to be a reality for a long time, but there is hope, and a way, to progress in the right direction. If various institutions (e.g. religious institutions, schools, entertainment, etc.) genuinely work towards and focus on raising collective human character and teaching how to live a value-based life, the world will by default move towards such ideals as absolute free speech. We just ain't ready for that as a collective society right now, because every action warrants a reaction. Otherwise, your existence is eventually completely eroded.

In the olden days the town used to have all activities around the Temples…just visit Srirangam Temple in Trichy TN.
Kushal I enjoyed listening to your comments on our Hindu Mandirs in North America.
If you get a chance do visit Vraj Shreenathji Haveli in Pennsylvania (US).
This place is in the middle of nowhere, but you should see the crowds of devotees visiting this temple everyday and on weekends (and of course during festivals).

A small typo on page 61. The date should be 1985 and not 1975. This is on the Shah bano case. On page 65 you say "exactly a year later, deliver they did ....the muslim women protection of rights on divorce act 1986"

I asked ' aren't you guys secular' and he said 'yes, we allow you to believe what you want but we're still a Christian nation' yet bbc says it is fascism when Hindus teach yoga at school. Government should not interfere in Hindu temples of Natives but govt should keep an eagles eyes on Mosque, madrassas and Churches and missionaries accounts where too much of foreign fundings are given to do riots in Bharat. These money's account should be kept. Only 15 minutes for Namaz should be given . No new Mosques should be made. No Govt help or salaries from tax collections should be given to any religious heads. No permissions for convent and madrassas should be given. There should be only one uniform educational system throughout Bharat. But state wise History book written by the Sanatani Dharmacharis with some Local Historians should be included to know bittermost History and how we can prevent our future from these past mistakes.
