  • I'm a Notion newbie! In this video I reset my life and make my new years resolutions for 2021 using Notion and UnJaded Jade's templates! Hopefully this year the goals I've made are realistic and they cover all aspects of my life from medical school, fitness, mental wellbeing, relationships and sleep.
I hope you enjoy my little Notion tour (which is currently very small) and if you are a student then definitely have a play around with Notion for free!

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Same here! I’m still waiting for one of my medical schools to get back to me (ahh fingers crossed) but the other interviews are done!
I’m sure you’re going to achieve those predicted grades! :))

Aw thank you so much! And good luck with your A Levels, it’s amazing you’re at the last hurdle now after such a long application process!

Loved this video! I actually came straight from Jades but I really liked this take on it! Seems more like something I can actually put into practice in my own life...
On the topic of sleep, i fully relate to what you were saying about testing yourself on random knowledge that pops into your head before you let yourself go to sleep... one thing I found really helpful to tackle this last year (which I’m carrying on this year) was to do a short 5-10 minute workout right before I go to sleep. I normally turn off the lights in my room, play some music and dance around for about 10 minutes! I know this sound stupid and counterintuitive but I seriously recommend trying it one night. I felt like my whole body was just so much more relaxed when I got into bed, like all that stress and adrenaline that used to keep me up was kind of just burnt out, and then idk my body understood its time to focus on itself now not time to think about work?
I’m not sure if thats helpful.. someone recommended it to be a while ago and ill be honest I wasn’t that keen to try it, but really i recommend giving it a go if you’re struggling with overthinking at night :)

Jayla kayalah ooo thank you for the tip, I’ll have to try that! It does make sense actually to burn off that overthinking energy before sleep!

This vid is so knowledgable! I have been trying to search for an insightful video similar to yours that really breaks down the stuff in this vid! 🥼 The part at 1:23 is my fav. Your tip actually is like the content from this new med student Dr Ethan. Doctor's tips are insightful and he actually helped me a lot on my midterms. He is an educational Dr in Europe and he talks about wellness and conditions.
I recommend you check out his YT out and give Doctor Ethan a like! ➡️ #MedicalStudentEthan
