Package skid works great as a storage device when placed on car dollies.Purchased the same model two yrs ago. Great add-on.

Good morning Jeff and congrats on the new grapple. There is a bit of a learning curve but you are going to love it. You want to get all the pressure out of the lines before connecting and disconnecting. Shookmeister made some very good points in the comments. Also, wiggle the loader joy stick when tractor is off as it will release pressure. Originally it's just a round knob. Enjoy the grapple buddy!

Thanks Paul, so far I am loving it and my most useful implement. I have more dents on my tractor now though. Amazing cleanup tool.

It has been amazing. Next video will show some of my cleanup work. Certainly my favorite attachment.

Congratulations on the new grapple. They are life changing. I have the exact same unit. A couple of tips you have found out alteady... When hooking up the hydraulic lines, it's best to turn the engine off, ingnition on, then press both the 3rd fuction valve buttons individually a few times. This releases pressure in the lines. Also, the lines and cylinders will build pressure when it's hot out and sunny. So if the grapple is stored in the hit sun, expect some extra resistance pushing in couplers on. This one is really important, you noticed the delay in the first time opening the grapple due to lack to the lack of fluid in the grapple...
that fluid came from your tractor to feed the grapple and is now in the grapple. Now your fluid level has been lower in the tractor. Top it off, it you haven't already. Mine was really low. Lastly, do not loan your grapple, or other hydraulic attachments. If someone's tractor has a contaminated hydraulic system, you stand a chance of it getting in your hydraulic system. Thanks for sharing your video.

Always cracking me up. Lil Sawmill would be nice to make good use of my wood. Some day for both of us :)

You're going to get a lot of use out of the grapple. It's my favorite attachment for my tractor.
