Believe me, horrible MIL’s is a bottomless vein of material.
I was married in the 1960’s and it was just after Christmas. The church was beautifully decorated and my only request was “Please don’t wear green. Brown, beige, gold, anything but green”.
My fiancés mom came in the shiniest, Kelly green satin from head to toe. Hat, dress, coat, purse, shoes…
So, they have been around forever.
Shucks, Katie can’t “look” like the bride walking down the aisle…with her son. Each episode brings out a whole new level of MIL’s toxic behavior. 👏👏👏

Mixed feelings here. Yes, she has been a pain in the ass. However, she is still his mother and he would be a bigger man if he had told her in advance about the marriage. I don't agree with the majority here, that she deserved to find out only during this scene. She should have been told in advance, like a day before this venue. This would make them bigger persons. This was an unnecessary revenge and it could break her heart.
Why does he have to be the bigger person after the way his mom constantly treated his soon to be wife? Did you see the way she talked about and to Sloan? They tried so many times to give her chances and she consistently let them down. Also remember this is for entertainment value, if there were no drama or issues, people wouldn’t find it entertaining.

And I still think this ending is over the line, since she truly loves her son, however, it's just my opinion. :) In general I don't feel any urge to take revenges whatsoever. Therefore in my opinion he really could have been a bigger person and could have tried to react like an adult and not like a child and don't let her find out about the marriage at the same time as all wedding guests.
@@veronikanika3032agree to disagree but not telling something to someone that has hurt you consistently isn’t being revengeful…it’s setting boundaries. She disrespected them multiple times, so they kept certain privileges from her. Revengeful is doing something to purposely get back or hurt someone. They could have done something like that especially at the end, instead basically weren’t not going to engage with rude behavior and told her to enjoy herself. 😅
