Very nice! I like the idea with the floor turning to gold under his feet.
Yeah I thought it'd be a fun idea that was different. Didn't want to do the normal turf like base. Just didn't feel like it fit with the mini.
Great Job copying your colour scheme, love the green into gold. Also the music was awesome :)
Forgot to ask please paint the rest of the Rising sun big geezers so I can get inspired ;)
Hey. Great job. Once again. Love the use of inks. You're the ink master. Wasn't fussed on the base, compared to what I've seen you done before. Still love ya, though 😁
Haha yeah not the most interesting base but I felt like it fit more than other ideas I had. Ink master - I like it! Love me those inks!
When you spend just as much time on the base as the figure... Ok, all joking aside: thanks for this video. I thought this figure was going to be the most boring one to paint, but I'm going to try your way tomorrow, which looks way better than the boring solid gold one in the pictures.
Yeah tried to make it a bit more interesting 😄. Not my favorite model from the box
Nice. When you talk about Les's wash base are you talking about a 50:50(Matte Medium::FlowAid/Distilled water) or just the FlowAid/Distilled Water part? Specifically when you talk about combining it with a PreFab wash
ok i am dumb its in the description
Glad you found it! Thanks for checking out the video!
Nice to see you showing P3 some love in this video--that's my second favorite brand of choice after Vallejo, these days. I learned to paint with those colors, so they do have sentimental value, to me. I especially like Molten Bronze and their silver metallic paints. But why do I have the King Shisa theme from "Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla" (1974) on the brain, now?
Dude P3 has some awesome paints. I especially like their metallics, Khador red base, Cygnus yellow, and Necrotite green!
@@BandaInku Somewhat related, here--would you say that Vallejo Smokey ink is as close as they get to Agrax Earthshade?
Probably. Though I've not tried any of their washes so there could be a wash that's more similar. The main difference in my experience is the smokey ink is a bit 'dirtier' than Agrax ES If that makes sense. If I had to pick between the two, I'd probably pick smokey ink. I use it all the time and it works great for shading, washing, etc. Gives a great effect on tons of things. One of my all time favorite paints
