prior to putting them in the oven I put garlic, onion powder, salt, and a little cayenne pepper on them...to each his own..you can also make them sweet with honey or maple syrup...

There are many ways to change things up here. We like to roast them first to get the most crunch and to avoid burning the seasonings

@@TheMediterraneanDish I don't do 'crunchy' so I cook them at a lower temp. and they don''t burn..to each his own :) they do make lovely healthy snacks...also I cook my own garbanzo (chick peas) then cool them, freezer bag them and put them in the freezer for quick use..it is handy...

Make humus, you just need some lemmon juice, olive oil, garlic, tahini, salt, cumin. Simple

You may use your regular snack spices, like in India we can replace them with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin seed powder, pink Himalayan salt, black pepper powder, mango powder. Such combination may work.

@@annumahil I'm so glad you mentioned these spices as they are what I was thinking of using. Certainly the turmeric, cumin and black pepper. This calls for some experimentation.
