- so, here is a fun idea that i have had for a while but had no idea how to execute. however, i asked Absolute who provided me with a brilliant way of searching for levels in the game that made searching for these levels a breeze. although his brilliant idea was executed rather poorly so cos8o helped me fix it c: this video wouldn't have been possible without them both
so here we are with a video showcasing how the Silent series began, with the very first true silent levels to ever appear. the Silent series is probably the biggest series in this entire game, yet there is next to no info where the series originated from, other than the obvious Silent Club and Silent Clubstep. here is your dragon shedding some light on the matter and introducing you to levels that majority of you most likely hasn't seen before. i do however apologise for the rather dreadful thumbnail in advance, i dont really have time to make a better one
im going to be gone for 2 weeks time as im taking a break from pretty much everything and taking a proper breather for once, as i haven't done that in a long time. when i come back, i have a revolutionary video to show you all c:

I actually never knew of Silent Mountain before watching this video so I’m glad I watched this, also I liked the remixs of Clubstep and Clutterfunk you used in the video. Good video :)

Thanks Stormfly. I love the early Silent levels. The ways in which they got their difficulty was extreamly creative and fun to watch. shame the series ended as it did, but it was fun.

I really like the old silent levels, but silent circles really just went from the levels being absurd to just impossible

The real problem is that: after Silent Circles (that is simply a silent remake of Nine Circles) creator start to make not more Silent Level but "Silent Circles-like" level that is very awful... If only Silent Circles was existed, there wasn't any problem, but now when one person read "Silent" thinks suddenly to an impossible level, but a Silent level is an extremely hard e precise level with a dark concept (All old Silent level are black, or dark palette with very precise timing, even Silent Circles, dark blue, dark violet and precise timing) not a spam level, the spam part is only a little part (that is beatable nowaday a 2-orb spam), but some Silent level like Silent Acropolis are good to. BTW, phisically, Silent Circles isn't impossible because is humanly possible to pass the infamous spam part.
silent circles is possible, if u wanna make a impossible just make a pilar of blocks that reach the limit, but ok

2. use an unoriginal decor
3. Put 2 billion frame perfects
4. work with salient
5. Insert loads of spam
Really interesting videos to watch. Also some nice nostalgia! One cool thing to add would be some commentary about the level but its not necessary :)

I think the concept on the early Silent levels was just beautiful: every level on this list is actually possible (with the exception of Silent Mountain, or at least seems). I think the original concept wasn't to make an impossible levels but to make a seemingly-impossible level, that is actually beatable legit. This reminds me of the fact that Nautilus2K actually nerfed Silent Clubstep for making possible in all Hz monitors, or the fact that all level made by him are actually verifiable legit (i just saw someone beat all spam sections in Silent Poltergeist, while Deadly Clubstep V2, Silentfunk, The Big Black and Silent Clubstep are just believed to be possible... The only exception seems Silent Cubstar). Ok that him collaborated on creating Silent Circles, but i remember that he feels sad when Cirillic made the wave in that way. Something in my mind, watching this video, make me believe that the Silent Levels weren't made for be impossible, but made for be a very extremely hard challenge... Now i'm just thinking how Silent Circles should was in Nautilus2k's mind.
If the wave spam in Silent Circles was replaced with a wave similar to the rest, it would have probably been what Nautilus wanted

Suprex beat a buffed version with some gameplay changes (extra straight fly), SrGulliester was attempting to verify the original at a later point yet moved onto The Big Black and then nerfed the second orb spam part.
I know about all those, also I don't consider Superex's version to be harder since straight flight is much more consistent than orb spam
