Ben Stiller definitely was blessed with with having two comedy icons as parents. Lol. He definitely had done them proud. May they both rest in peace. 🙏🏽🙏🏽💙💜
Mystery Men is a great comedy spoof movie about amateur superheros. Ben Stiller plays Mr Furious (power is getting angry); William H Macy plays the Shoveler (hits people with shovel); Hank Azaria (voice of many Simpson characters) plays the Blue Raja (he throws cutlery); Kel plays Invisible Boy (who can become invisible but only if no one is looking at him). There is also the Spleen who's power is gas 'pull my finger'. They accidentally have a hand in the death of the movie's real superhero so they recruit heroes to join their team to train and fight the villain. I love this movie, it is so funny.
Spleen is played by Paul Reubens aka Pee-wee Herman
Movie was called “Mystery Men”. One character power is Rage. He gets angry and gets violent.

You raised her right! lol. Shrek is one of the must sees as a child that you will always remember. It has a good story and is really funny, Eddie Murphy was amazing and the humor that the movie needed.

I remember in my music appreciation class, we were talking about rhythm and my teacher turned on the radio to give us a good idea of what he was talking about. After the song on the radio was over, this song came on, but my teacher went to go turn the radio off. All of us were "noooooooooooo!", the teacher looked at us like we were weird and turned the radio back on just to listen to this song.
There’s interesting article about this song, this song was specifically written to satisfy recording studio requests/need for song to be easily played on the radio, it was done in like a day or two, and the song’s royalties itself paid off band members houses. The reason you think you heard it before in multiple places is because they happily sell the rights to it to be used in movies, commercials etc.

WOO HOO part of the Early Fam today! This song is such a classic, but I remember when it was popular BEFORE "Shrek". Yeah, I'm THAT old. :-p
Oh to be on the "edge of 17" at 4 in the damn AM driving to the Canada Games Pool back in '99 (AKA the renowned "Javex Bleach Pool" - gotta love the 90s) for practice, jamming heavily to this song. Anyone who gets up at that hour of the morning to get practically naked, wet and freeze their stugots off isn't exactly expected to make an appeal to sanity and definitely working on a lean mixture. And that was if you didn't accidentally swallow or snort a gallon of highly chlorinated water by accident and end up with an itch attack immediately following. Our motto was "puke in the gutter and keep going" with a few expletives thrown in just because. Gotta love being a teenage guy in the 90s. An era where you were actually allowed to screw it up and learn from it.

Well the song came out in '99 so it's been around for a minute already but yeah, ALL STAR will be here for a long time. Good songs usually stand the test of time. I liked this reaction. I actually remember when the song came out, before the movie SHREK though. 😂
