    As with all his earlier interviews Sadguru brings much value to this one too with his answers and views on Save soil and rally for rivers.. Shekhar correctly called him wise for the clarity on issues Sadhuru brings on the table of the various topics they discussed... needless to mention that Sadhguru's soliloquy as well as the question and answer sessions are equally riveting for its content and the nuances he brings in.. what a man..

    As always Sadhguru's mastery over whatever he is taking up is amazing. He walks the talk much better than most official spokespersons of corporations or governments, across the globe. He is constantly asked these questions about his ashram and its supposed structural deviations. It really ticks him off when he is asked the same thing over and over again for nearly 2 decades....nowadays they ask him that just to tick him off. Now they worry as to why a guru should travel in a bike...they expect him to fit into that stereotype they have in mind - a tottering old man with sacred ash, travelling in a palanquin. He never was a guru who fit into any of those stereotypes. The TN government under the 2 dravidian parties at various time periods have been after him...called his ashram an environmental hazard, complained that his ashram structures were across an elephant path...called him a land grabber....whatever. The real story is that the land on which his Ashram is built needs to.be grabbed by the TN government...the core issue is really about real estate...snd they bring in every other emotional aspect into those arguments against him. But he just keeps expanding his reach and influence with his work. He will always remain an interesting guru to study. Resilient and resourceful. Great interview. 👍

When you belive yours is only right path then you have an issue of tolerating people who believe otherwise.

    • @hyderali7973
      @hyderali7973 Před 2 lety +1

      The hijab answer was not worth a penny. If sadhguru is a logical and wise man as he portrays himself then he should know that the Supreme law of the land is its constitution, and any institue, office, school etc that drafts their policy cannot contradict the constitution of the country. While the constitution of India gives freedom to practice any religion, how can a school restrict that same practice and go against the constitution? It's really absurd. If uniform is a requirement, the students who want to wear hijab can easily incorporate hijab in their uniform. If the uniform requires them to wear blue color shirt then they can wear a blue color scarf with it. The reality here is that there is a movement in India by some groups to oppress minorities especially Muslims. Period

      @@hyderali7973 Sir, you should start reading more, you are quoting the constitution. There are courts in our country whose job is to make sure that the country is run as per the constitution. There is a constitutional judgement regarding the hijab issue, in which it has been clearly stated that institutions have the right to enforce their prescribed dress code. This is done so that there is no alienation of any person in that institution.I am paraphrasing but the judgement is available online, the court has explained its decision in an elaborate and constitutional manner. I encourage you to read it.

    Really like the interview and the great initiative by Sadhguru :)
    Nonetheless, regarding no right to offend is a slippery slope... What is offense and how people get offended is tricky!
    Even if we take the Indian darshans such as Jain, Budha, Yoga, Mimansa, Vedanta etc. their texts are full of criticism of each other. That doesn't mean you attack the other person! Criticism, debates, arguments and the right to dissent etc. are significant in how society's thought process develops.
    If we put restrictions on speech (of course other than calling for violence, defamation etc. which should bear consequences under the law) then why do we have democracy and freedom of speech anyway?
    We should not have any form of "Blasphemy" laws, but I might be a minority here!
    There is no bright future for science, arts or creativity w/o this!
