      I use a thermal paste I bought on AliExpress called GD900. No, I haven't been undervolting my CPU lately.

    Hi, thx for the video. How many heatsink and fan is your laptop has? My msi is sharing the heatsinks for cpu & gpu & only 1 fan. I undervolt + using cooler boost to get 73-75°c. W/o cooler boost activated only 79-82°c. Stocks up until 90°c lol

    • @rafaelvitriago9786
      @rafaelvitriago9786  Před 3 lety

      Two heatsinks for both the CPU and the GPU (shared), and also two fans.

    I have a y520 with i7 7700hq 32g ram and gtx 1050ti and it has so mich lag and picks on the graph that make it unplayable over 30fps lock make no sence at all. I have the stock m.2 drive, I will try chanching the thermal paste to check the result.

      @tiagocosta8992 Před 2 lety

      Try updating all your drivers and make sure the game is on an SSD, also, the first time you launch it leave it alone for a few minutes so it can optimise the shaders to your hardware

    Hi, I have a question, I have the same pc and playing the division or remmant the temperature reaches 95 degrees, is it normal?

    • @rafaelvitriago9786
      @rafaelvitriago9786  Před 3 lety

      Nope, that's not normal. You should change your thermal paste and clean your fans.

    installed on 256gb nvme SSD
    I don't know what's wrong, but I can barely cross 32-35 avg fps on low settings.
    I'm on performance mode on battery and extreme cooling is on as well. No background apps are running and all drivers are up to date.
    Why is this happening??
    Really, any help would be greatly appreciated. ty

      Your pc doesn't have enough ram, if you pay attention even in low settings the game needs about 10 to 12gb of ram, and stock your pc shares half of it with the integrated graphics so you only have 4gb of usable ram.

      The 1050 and the 1050 Ti are different cards. This is the 1050 ti, you can look up the specs and they are the same (due to the low power consumption of the card).

      That's not right. Here: laptopmedia.com/highlights/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-laptop-vs-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-desktop-specs-and-performance-comparison/
      The article states the specs and benchmarks of both versions and they are within margin of error. That means they are the same card.
