@@fuckusingfullname Chill, I looked into what the media didn't want to say and there's a lot of truth that is being suppressed. Here's some advice, do not argue with individuals on social media. Save it for face to face.
The creamer video got cut short, that woman was an employee hiding all of the creamer before an old man came in looking confused because there's no creamer to steal.
This is how I personally feel about creamer specifically. You can't steal what's free. So what he if take he takes 4-5 extra for his next cup later on. A lot of times its old anyways from not being rotated out so use it or lose it instead of wasting it.
@@up_grayedd1562 the creamer isn’t free, it’s included in the purchase of a cup of coffee.
@@livfastdrivfast8896 and he probably buys a cup of coffee... i grab a few extra, but i always buy the biggest cup... i also only grab extra of a certain kind because other gas stations dont carry them.
maybe the guy in the video was a more obvious case of theft, but in general... its just people grabing a few extra with their coffee
@@William-Morey-Baker key word "few". You grab a "few" extra. Other than that, good points. It is better to side on innocence for now since we don't know the full context of the vid and we should assume that he did buy a drink (though I personally doubt it)
@@William-Morey-Baker as someone who works in a gas station. People will come in a just take creamer without purchasing anything all the time. The worst is people who come in with their own cup and fill it with creamer and say it's just water.
Tom’s videos in a nutshell:

1/3rd genuine concern for bodily harm
1/3rd “not advice” on how to do illegal stuff without getting caught
I hope that guy that was stand out of the car is okay it looks like he may have not survived

Not only did that woman commit fraud working at a police department, she specifically applied for a job committing fraud at the police department on television.
5:57 The only timestamp you will need, in which Attorney Tom prepares to deliver the State of the Onion address.
So what she is saying is, "my parents paid for law school"
"My Client, one Elphaba of Oz, was permanently and horrifically scarred by this person's disproportionate use of deadly force against my client through the use of his automated sprinkler system."
The only thing school is useful for is getting a certification that lets employers know you can work 40+ hours a week lmaooooo
@Alexandria Lukes It's ironic because half of those jobs it is said that you learn more on the job than you ever would in school.
Look, don't take what I said literally. School is definitely important to an extent. But needlessly memorizing shit is not it. Yes, we should learn the basics for most jobs, but if we wanted to save time we would teach what actually goes on in the real world -- not how to read from a textbook and memorize facts that you can just google in the real world.
@@aaronsvoboda5897 so you would trust a doctor that never went to school to operate on you?
@@Girtharmstrong69 Yes and no. If the doctor had rigorous training in the field and some degree of education, yes.
You missed my point entirely though. I'm saying the amount of school and the way it's set up is ridiculous and pointless in many situations given the advent of technology. Being a doctor is obviously not a field that it entirely applies to.
@@Girtharmstrong69 do you know how often doctors are googlng stuff?
Pretty sad an entire police department couldn’t figure out they hired a woman who commits serial fraud, and it took an onlooker.
So a few things about that. I don’t know ASL, do you? The other thing is that if you listen carefully, it said that MUCH of what she was signing was nonsense. Who’s to say that she doesn’t actually know sign language and signed properly to get the job and is certified, but thought it would be “funny” for whatever reason to sign gibberish at her job, or at her job in this particular instance? It’s not necessarily so cut and dry.
@@babybirdhome I heard she actually folunter
(Edit gramat)
Ok, so, I am fluent in ASL and have been involved with the Deaf Community for over a decade in Tampa, Florida. What she did is akin to an ASL 1 student and most of the time absolutely nonsensical. Unfortunately, police departments are often under-educated and under-trained in appropriately utilizing services for those with disabilities. This woman volunteered and the police were all to happy to not pay for an agency interpreter as they are expensive, especially at short notice. This woman was 100% not certified and this caused a huge uproar in the local Deaf Community and now more often than not in these situations we have Certified Deaf Interpreters or at minimum fully qualified hearing interpreters.
@@babybirdhome she has like 9 previous arrests for fraud. Why are you giving her the benifit of the doubt. She's pretty clearly guilty
She was likely a contractor. Regardless, an entire police department didn't hire her or bring her in. HR or whoever was in charge of contract labor did. And if they knew ASL well enough to know she was signing nonsense the department wouldn't have needed her services in the first place. A very small portion of the population knows sign language.
I always watch Attorney Tom's videos at half speed so they last longer. They're easily worth twice the amount of my normal time, and I feel like I'm ripping him off by not dedicating more of it to watching his videos.
And as a bonus it makes him sound drunk.

The sprinkler could be considered a trap which may not be legal to use to defend property. If we imagine that someone is hit with the sprinkler, tries to run, slips and injures themselves, maybe they could have a case against the homeowner.
Also that sign language fraudster probably works for a contracting firm that the police hire for interpreters when they need them, at least she got caught out at a news conference and not with something important like taking a statement from a deaf witness.
Before I left the US to live in a different country for an unrelated reason, I used to work for medical software company. One hospital in Michigan, I was working in a radiologists PACs system (software they interfaces the machines like cr,mri and the server so the doctor can read the x-ray and dictate his report), one x-ray which is hilarious they had to still go through the motion to x-ray the person who was deceased had a giant hole in the top of his head. I sell fireworks. Most people don't understand how dangerous those things are now. It's not the same shit we used to play with as kids. I had one guy, young, maybe 19 or 20, was holding those artillery shell launchers and dropping them in to fire them. Damn near blew off his thumb. Went to the ER got like 200 stitches. Came back the next day in a soft cast and bought more of them, $200 worth. I told him, look I'm gonna sell these to you but only if you tell me you won't do that again. He said, "nah man, I always hold em and shoot em like that. It's just this time I put one in upside down by mistake to see what would happen." (by mistake to see what would happen, catch that?) "But I can promise you, I won't do that again."
Of course I said, no dumbass, you can't be holding them at all. These things are made in China, not exactly the best quality control. They may have accidentally made them upside down and put the fuse on the wrong end. Or the damn thing could just explode on its own without firing, get stuck or be a dud. I'm serious if I hear of you holding them again I'm not going to sell to you anymore.
"Oh yea, I never thought of that. OK man I won't hold em anymore. I'll tell my friends not to do it either."
JFC, all his friends are idiots too. Should've known. I almost didn't sell them to him, but $200 is $200, ya know. 😜💵🤣
I'm sure there was nothing in it before he set off the firework, so it's no surprise
People are dumb. An old roommate of mine had an interesting resume. Mainly the part where he claimed to be fluent in Korean and German. When I saw that, I literally LOL'd and was like "They could easily test you on this. We live in an area with a particularly high Korean population!"
Has he done the shotgun blank porch pirate deterrent?
As for the automatic sprinkler, we have those in our neighborhood to deter rabbits and pests. It could be argued that spraying people is the unintended result, lol 😆
The girl going to law school who is going into art full time after this likely either has law as a second choice or was forced by her parents
10:45 often times protective gloves are counterproductive because limiting tactile sense can lead to more injuries than not having any protection.
Fair enough, but there must be at least some way for them to be able to complete that work precisely with their fingers more than two inches away from the lazer
As I welder, I can say you are totally right. But still, that just don't seem safe. 😂
7:20 "I don't even know what you are talking about, that sprinkler is there to scare deer off the lawn. Sometimes, the deer has two legs."
Here on the Barrister Thomas channel, we find out about dumb ways to die or get injured and whether or not we would be able to sue someone for damages.
8:35 Look, if you're going to lie about your qualifications to get a job, at least make an attempt to learn the skills after the fact. It isn't that hard to get a basic level of ASL down if you dedicate the time and energy*. Couldn't you at least attempt to learn terms likely to come up in these kinds of press conferences?
*Of course, ASL is a language, and like all languages is full of nuance and complexity, but for the sake of fulfilling the duties of this specific job, I feel like one could at least practice some vocab.
I think she likely knew some basic conversational ASL, otherwise she likely wouldn't have gotten the job. Plus, how she signs, while it certainly was gibberish, actually looked kind of convincing (to me) in comparison to other people who I've seen pretend to sign, which makes me think she has some kind of basic background in ASL
